Gigantomastia
Massive enlargement of the breasts
Question: where can I find some Gigantomastia photos - medical? where can I find some Gigantomastia photos - medical?
Answer: Medical Photos? Since, Gigantomastia was first described in literature in 1648. The condition is caused by over-sensitivity to the female hormones estrogen and progesterone, and/or an unusually high quantity of these hormones. Gigantomastia by definition means bilateral benign progressive breast enlargement to a degree that requires breast reduction surgery to remove more than 4 lb of tissue on each side. There is little actual medical need for pics as the diagnosis does not require visual. I have attached a few articles. They all have the necessary pics. (None)
Question: Do I have Gigantomastia? I just turned 13 in April, and have a size 36C bra, and I'm outgrowing that, even. I know that my breasts and bra size are larger than those of the other 7th graders at my school. I have an average build for my age and am not overweight. Do I have Gigantomastia or is this normal?
Answer: It's completely normal, just get to used to it :)
Question: should my boobs be this big? i will be 17 in a month. i weigh 113lbs and i am 5'4 and my bra size is D. and i am constantly popping out of my bra. what is wrong with me. i hate them so much they give me really bad upper back problems. iv asked my mom a number of times if i can get a breast reduction and she says we cant afford it which is so true. how can i shrink my boobs. and should they be this big. also if you look up gigantomastia that is what i have. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!
Answer: Awww sweetie that's okay. Im a D and was at the age of 17 I was a C at 14 or 15. I TOTALLY understand the whole popping out "bubbling" thing. I hate that too! Okay, heres what to do about that; Victoria Secret has really great bras for this. Just go in and tell them you need a "Full Coverage" bra because you dont like bubbling out or popping out. I told them this and they knew exactly what I wanted. I have a couple bras that are amazing, they cover your breasts better then the bras that only go like half way up (i'm sure you know what I'm talking about). I understand wanting a breast reduction, but they are expensive, and honestly I wouldn't do it before you have kids. Because they are going to go right back up. Now you may wonder well then they will get bigger if I dont when I get pregnant, yes, but they go down when you stop breast feeding. So I really wouldn't do that until you are totally done having kids. But you could talk to your doctor and see some things you can do to aliviate your back pain for now, and if you still reallllyyy want a breast reduction and your doctor suggests it, start saving! I'll put the URL so you can look at the pictures of the bras I'm talking about. I'd pay attention to the first two on the top row and the first one on the second row (i think that's the one i have actually). it'll just give you an idea, but like i said if you go in and say i need a full coverage they will know what you are talking about and direct you to the bras. This COULD actually help with some back pain if you are better supported. Good Luck!!
Question: My friend needs help about her boobs! shes very sad.? Ok so i have a friend who is a two years younger then me and only 13. The thing is she has very very large boobs. She barley fits into an F-cup and no shes not fat. Because of this people stare at her and make fun of her calling her a slut and such. Its just she actually has a condition called gigantomastia which causes extreme breast growth whether you lose wight or not due to unbalanced hormones. She wants a reduction, but what can she do until then? she always has to wear sweatshirts and her boobs are still growing really fast.
shes a little pudgy, but by no means fat.
Answer: First off, shame on the person to spam!
The only thing I can think to do is a sports bra, maybe a size smaller to really "squish" them down?! Maybe try getting flow-y kind of shirts that will draw more attention to the stomach?
Until then, the best of luck, people can be really cruel, but everyone gets what they deserve eventually.
Question: What do you think about this non fiction piece? Be-Careful-What-You-Wish-For-Because-You…
The stares, the whispers, the insults, the jokes. They can take a toll on a girl. Now you may be thinking “Oh whispers and jokes she must be overweight, poor girl”. Well I’m a perfectly normal weight so now you all must be thinking “Oh she must have some weird genetic mutation and she looks like the elephant man, she’s the elephant girl”. Wrong again. Alright I will take you out of the suspense, I’m a short teenage girl, in a normal weight range, so the problem is (drum roll please….)

Manila, UTI have a condition called gigantomastia this literally medically means giant breasts. Now you maybe thinking, that’s a problem? Well it certainly is, when people look at me that is all they see they see nothing more than a girl with a very large chest, they don’t see a face, a mind or hey I would settle for anything other “Hey is that the girl with the boobs?”. The attention is not positive it’s people in disbelief; they don’t find it attractive they find it impossible. Now you maybe thinking “Hey now you aren’t the only one who people stare at!?” Well you are absolutely correct on that one. There is also another problem carrying around 10 or 6 extra pounds everyday isn’t exactly what I would say comfortable; I’m basically a packing mule carrying all of the luggage in my chest. I can’t play sports I’ve tried, oh how I’ve tried. Let’s just say that I’ve almost taken an eye or two out while running on the soccer field and I’ve had quite too many boob bumps on the volleyball court. I can’t stand up straight, just call me quazzy motto (Hunchback of Notre dame), I can barely stand for more than 20 minutes without having to sit. Now I wasn’t always like this there was once a time when I was among the average busted teens in fact, when I was in middle school I dreamed of the day I would grow a chest, but then it happened. It was gradual and within four years of beginning to develop I went from a 34 b to a 34 G. I hated being flat chested I felt like no one ever looked at me, oh how naïve I was. So then people started looking, and it wasn’t anything like I had imagined. So I wasn’t happy flat chested and I’m certainly not happy with these boulders lying in my blouse, so what does make me happy? Well the answer to that my friends has nothing to do with whether you have grapes in your t shirt or if you have water melons in your sweater, and as cheesy and clique as this is going to sound, your body has nothing to do with happiness it’s been found true time after time. No matter how much I want to look like Megan Fox or Angelina Jolie, here’s a shock, it’s never going to happen! We can wish on star after shining star but the body you have, is the body you are stuck with. But guess what, that doesn’t have to be a bad thing! Embrace it; if you have a big chest like me deal with it, some of the jokes don’t lie, they are kind of funny. Now some of them are just plain hurtful, but here is another big shocker, we don’t have to take it tell them to shut there mouths! And it’s the same if you’re overweight, have a beer belly, have a big butt, have love handles, or if your flat chested. Girls guys or whatever you are, we are all in the same boat riding along without a life jacket. We all have things that we hate about ourselves and can’t change it. So take control of your life. If someone is staring at you just say “What are you looking at, you aren’t so perfect you’re self there”. We as humans point out every one else’s flaws constantly, come on admit you know you have done it. And guess why we do it? Shocker because we all have something we don’t like about ourselves so we try to make our selves feel better by pointing out each other’s flaws. The world isn’t going to change, maybe someday but for now it is staying in this same judgmental planet. So stick up for yourselves and accept your self for who you are. Yes I have a big chest but that is not all that I am. Show the world who you are because if you don’t they will certainly have no problem telling you who they think you are.

Answer: its ok
Question: Hi! I feel kinda weird asking this, but is it okay to wear two sports bras at the same time? I have a condition called Gigantomastia, which means my breasts started growing early, and haven't stopped yet... I have to have my regular bras custom made, cause there is no such size as a 32 F, but my mom and I can't find anyone who will make custom sport bras.... I am in pretty good shape, and want to be more active, but I can't play sports like tennis or basketball because it just hurts too much. A friend of mine suggested I try wearing two bras, one that would support me from the bottom, like a shelf bra, and then put on a larger sports bra than what I wear (like a 38 DD) to keep me from bouncing around as much. Would this work? would it be safe? Would it be comfortable enough to play tennis or basketball?
Answer: Yes its okay to wear two sports bras. But you will have to try it to see if its comfortrable for you. And there are websites out there that make custom bras that will fit you. You should check them out! Good luck! =]
Question: Largest bra sizes available? Help!? Now five months pregnant, I have developed a problem that is embarrassing to even discuss: I have developed 'mammary hypermastia,' a.k.a. 'gigantomastia,' a hormonal syndrome whereby my breasts have become freakishly huge; so big that they are causing me back problems.
.
For assorted medical reasons, breast-reduction surgery is out of the question, and the condition may or may-not be permanent.
.
Local brassiere shops don't carry bras anywhere near my new cup size. Can anybody suggest an online vendor of brassieres, preferably here in California (in case I want to go for a personal fitting)?
.
Thank you for the information. Maria O.
Answer: Try Goddess Bras. The nursing bras go up to 48I and Soft Cup Bras go to 56L. You didn't mention your size, but hopefully these work for you.
They have stores in California for fittings.
Question: Is an E cup considered gigantomastia? I am 5'7 & 22. They started getting too big for my frame when I was 9. I think they look and feel horrible. I would rather be flat than stared at by creeps. But I don't want to have surgery.
they've wrecked my confidence and I'm not very athletic anymore (though I try)
Answer: It's a pretty good size, but I remember working with a small girl weighing about 115 but really big breasted. She got pregnant and got even larger. One day she told me how she couldn't find a bra,
and when she finally did she needed a G. I had never heard of it. So there are larger breasted
women than you out there. I guess surgery would be your only alternative and you don't want it
so I guess you simply have to live with it.
Question: Is an E cup considered gigantomastia? I am 5'8 but even with my frame they look and feel horrible. But I don't want to have surgery.
Still they have always been interfering with everything. I'm not very athletic anymore (though I try to be, it's awkward) and I've never dated (too shy for one and also because I'm kind of jaded I guess.. Also they kind of attract the attention of sleazier guys, who I avoid and ignore entirely, and I think intimidates the ones that I do like. Plus there's this thing in our culture where guys are attracted to larger ones but since they're associated with perviness, they only date girls with less large busts.)
Answer: E cup isn't terribly huge, have you been fitted for a bra by a professional service, like in Marks and Spencers, John Lewis or La Senza? If you feel uncomfortable maybe you're not getting enough support.
When it comes to exercise there are specific bras for women with larger chests to give them lots of support. Also, you could do exercise like swimming where the water gives you buoyancy so it's easier to deal with big boobs.
They perhaps do attract sleazy guys but I don't think it's true to say that less pervy guys only date women with a small bust. My friend just got married and has 32J bra size and is about 5'7. And her husband isn't sleazy at all! And lots of people have big boobs and are in happy relationships with non-sleazy partners!
Make sure you wear a supportive bra and flattering clothes (my friend with the big boobs wears a lot of wrap dresses and they look great) and be proud of your boobs!
