Question: I had a forehead lift, upper and lower eyelids on Feb 7, I still have so much swelling especially my eyes? it seems as tho I have a corneal edema, I am not taking anything except saltwater eye drops and it is not working. The pressure on my eyes is terrible

Question: will my brow movement come back after a forehead lift? I am six weeks out from a brow lift. my right forehead muscles are very strong and the brow is arched. the left brow is lower and straight. i have no muscle movement at all on the left forehead brow. the nurse from my surgeons office said not to worry that the nerves will take time to come back. has any one else had this happen? any frozen brows out there?
Answer: This problem usually rights itself but if you still have the problem in 6 months then likely you will be stuck with it.
Question: What is a forehead lift or brow lift? Does it make the forehead smaller or what...?!
Answer: It makes your forehead appear smaller because it lifts your eyebrows. tho i think this is a bad idea if you want to try making a forehead smaller. Brow lifts are basically just to lift your brows and make your eyes look bigger and more open. A forehead lift is to remover your wrinkles on your brow.
Question: How can you lift your forehead without a facelift?
Answer: Grow your hair into a ponytail and make it real tight, it should strech your head out.
Question: Why do my bangs lift up from my forehead and flip outwards? I try to flip them inwards but it doesn't last long =[ and I don't want to put hairspray on, I don't like my hair feeling like crap.
Answer: sounds like you need something stronger than ***** spray, try gatsby rubber, it's strong, but doesnt feel like putting glue in your hair, plus you can rearrange it as many times as you want (i sound like a commercial...)

Question: What is the cost of Forehead Lift & Upper or Lower Blepharoplasty (Eyelids) Surgery ?
Answer: Many patients travel from United States of America and UK to get low cost of Forehead Lift & Upper or Lower Blepharoplasty (Eyelids) surgery in India. One of the most frequently asked questions when considering Forehead Lift & Upper or Lower Blepharoplasty (Eyelids) surgery is "how much?" and “what is the price of surgery in India?”
Oftentimes, patients choose their surgeon on the basis of price.
The cost of Forehead Lift & Upper or Lower Blepharoplasty (Eyelids) surgery is very affordable in India and costs are much lower when compared to the United States, UK and other countries. However, since the success of your surgery is largely dependent on your choice of surgeon, cost should not be your main consideration for your decision to undergo Forehead Lift & Upper or Lower Blepharoplasty (Eyelids) surgery in India.
I checked out the website of Forerunners Healthcare –which is the premier most medical tourism company in India offering low cost surgery in India to International Patients. They have served more than 400 International patients from across the globe (specially US and UK) to get low cost affordable surgery in India at the best Hospitals and Medical Institutions. Your surgeon's skill can make all the difference between a good and an average result. Thus, although it is understandable that price is one of the considerations in your choice of surgeon, it is important to remember that the main consideration should be your surgeon's professional qualifications and experience.
Besides that you should look into other issues related to traveling abroad, which is your visa, passport, climate, cultural issues and language barrier. Although language is not a problem in India –as most of the people are well verse in English. But you should make sure that you have a reliable hand holding person to guide you through the various steps of getting medical treatment and surgery in India.
Hope this helps.
Question: Can you lift your forehead without plastic surgery?
Answer: try google
Question: In 2006 I had a thread lift on my forehead? The thread kept poking out of my skin..one even broke thru.
I had my doctor take the threads out and perform a forehead lift the old fashioned way (before threads were available).
I can not see any difference. I thought that the extra skin on my eyes would be lifted a little. Also, the areas where the threads poked thru now sag down. I thought that the 2nd surgery would correct that.
My doctor's nurse told me that there are too many "nerves" in that area - where the skin sags now - for a lift to be performed. What does THAT mean?
Anyone out there with this type of experience?
Talk to me about it.
And ONLY send a reply if you have something to say. I don't need judgment, I need an answer.
Thank you!
Answer: You need to seek out a different doctor. After reading your other question, it sounds like you have had more then a couple of issues with the procedures done at this facility. Your doctor should have made you more informed prior to surgery about the effects you would be getting with surgery. I would definitly get a new plastic surgeon if you plan on having anything else done.
Question: If you want to make your eyes, brow, and forehead lift, what options do you have? not surgery or expensive?
Answer: thread is a cheap and a good idea..........

Answer: You can easily check your minimal health care rates in internet, for example here - health-quotes.talk4fun.net
Question: I have seen ring fighters lifting weight with their back of the forehead. What does lifting weight help? what does lifting weight with the back of the forehead help? How many KGs of weight am i recommemded to lift?
Answer: The neck.
But you increase risk of injury more than you gain. Swimming is a much better exercise for the neck. You are also working the neck muscles anytime you work the shoulders or back. If you have ever had whiplash, or a serious neck crank, then you know how sensitive the neck is.
You might also be referring to tricep extensions. It can be done with a barbell or dumbbell. You sit with a good posture, keep the elbows tucked to your ear and extend the weight from the back of your neck directly upward over your head. This works the largest tricep head. (Back of your arms)
Question: I am just over 3 weeks post op from a endoscoptic forehead lift brow lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty,? laser eye resurfacing, and dermabrasion with laser resurfacing...My swelling just will not subside...i am using hydrocortison cream 2x per day and taking advil and tylenot. Just started a lite massaging...any help would be appreciated, sometimes I feel like I just can't stretch anymore... not to mention my head is still totally numb as well as my face
Answer: sounds silly but... frozen peas.
they're awesome.
corn works too, but gets mushier faster.
the bags conform to the contours of your face and you're far enough postop that your blood supply is established.
wrap the bag of frozen peas (or corn) in a washrag (DO NOT PUT IT DIRECTLY ON YOUR SKIN) and take your repose on the nearest couch
we dig around a lot in there, your nerves are still probably touchy and tha's why the numbness...
as for the swelling, it differs from person to person but when my friend had a nosejob, she didnt have it go COMPLETELY away for almost 3 months.
Surgery is traumatic, your body is just reacting.
try the peas :)
Question: what is your professional opinion of having a face lift (neck and face but not eyes or forehead) undr local? what is your professional opinion of having a face lift (neck and face but not eyes or forehead) under local anesthesia with sedation?
Answer: If you get a "Twlight Sleep" with some Versed (form of Valium) and you do not have to go through the injections. . cold turkey, then go for it.
It helps to cut the cost of the surgery and there are less risks than being put to sleep though as a general rule, being put to sleep is fairly risk free but there is always a risk when being put to sleep however small it is.
If you have a conventional face lift and not one of those "quick fix" face lift,be prepared for a fairly long period of laying on your back. . . .2-4hours depending on your Surgeon.
You will feel pressure, tugging and pulling as they tighten the skin.
You will hear things that will seem foreign to you just as you do when you go to the dentist. . but just as with the dentist, don't let these things bother you though they will most certainly concern you.
As the local wears off, your pain will come on gradually verses waking up from a general anesthesia where your pain comes to life the minute you wake up.
Be prepared for the look when you see your face for the first time as there will be a fair amount of bruising, swelling and taut skin. . . .DO NOT DESPAIR,this will resolve during your healing time.
Be aware that with a local and some mild sedation you will hear the OR crew talk and in your "sleepy" state you may hear things that you "think" they are saying about you but don't take it seriously as you may or may not be hearing the real things they are saying. . . Twilight sleep can play tricks on what you think you are hearing.
As long as you have confidence in your physician,I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Good Luck
Question: I'am 22 years of age and I have forehead wrinkles. What can I do? I dont like them one bit. What can I do, other than a forehead lift. Thanks
Answer: I've had them since I was born. Mom said that's one of the first things she noticed about me. Unfortunately not much you can do short of Botox, Restylane, etc. or surgery. Save your money on the creams and stuff.
Question: Why can't I pinch the skin on my forehead? I can't pinch the skin on my forehead or lift it up, at all.
I also can't even wrinkle my forehead and I have no forehead wrinkles.
Why is that?
How's it ridiculous?
Almost everyone I've met has the ability to pinch the skin on their forehead or even to wrinkle it. I can't.
Answer: Probably because you are young, unfortunately this will change with age. The skin on your forehead is very taught. But even at 40+ years old I cant pinch it. But I can wrinkle mine.
LOL When I read your Q, the first thing I did was try to pinch my forehead. I wonder how many others did the same?
Question: I am middle aged.. can't afford botox or a quick lift just yet. What foundation covers forehead lines?
Would An Air Brush Foundation Work Bettter then Regular to erase lines? They use them on models and actors all the times to do this.. was just wondering. Luminous air has one you can put in your handbag.
Answer: Believe it or not Cocoa Butter NOT ONLY COVERS BUT GETS RID OF wrinkles, stretch lines, and scars.
SOME PEOPLE SAY USE EGG AND MIX IT WITH HONEY BUT THAT CAN BREAK OUT YOUR SKIN.
1.get Vaseline or Burt's Bee's Cocoa Butter Lotion
2. take a little of it and put it in a cup microwave it for 15 sec. or longer until warm and melted
this can also be done frozen
3.then massage it into your wrinkle, stretch line, or scar. do this for about 2 min.
4.do this every day for about 2 weeks
Question: Do I need a forehead/brow lift? So I don't understand how my eyes should feel when they are open...I feel like I put a lot of stress on them to keep them open. Otherwise, when i try to relax my eye area/forehead, I feel like something heavy is laying across my brows and weighing my lids down.
Then sometimes i'll test the waters and pull my hairline (where my bangs) back . It's liek i'm pulling my forehead skin back and my eyes feel so much better.
I'm in no pain, it's just a nuisance
Also, I'm asian and 19 years old
Answer: i Have that too, No dont go under the knife, i found these facial excersices that i copied and pasted somewhere off yahoo agess ago on my notepad lol....it helped me anyway..
