Question: How much does this kind of aesthetic surgery cost in Korea ? I intend to travel to Korea to have my nose and my cheekbones fixed. I want my cheekbones to be lowered (I heard that the doctor will cut small parts of the bones to make the cheekbones lower) and a plastic surgery for my nose. How much do these things cost in Korea (in US dollard) ?

Answer: It will be alot cheaper there than the US dont know how much but I think the US is the most exspensive place to have certain type of surgery

Question: Is there a good site to ask stuff about aesthetic surgery? When I try to clarify my doubts here, people only tell me plastic surgery is bad. Like I cared. So my question is: Where on the net do people actually share medical knowledge, as opposed to hiding their ignorance by giving mediocre pseudo-answers like "you need other kind of help"? Question: Has anyone heard of or been to Aesthetic Breast Surgery in Geelong? I am going there next week for a consultation and the following week will be possible surgery. Answer: Not the BQ: I did a marketing research project in college about a company whose main source of revenue is breast implants. I chose the company, and I don't remember my motive. I do remember beginning and ending.... Wait! I do remember now. I have a friend who invented a medical product, and I knew generally about business, but not the medical supplies business, so I wanted to learn about it to see what kind of potential his invention had. And... it just happened that this company was also in the business I was interested in (something to do with men), though plastic boobs were the cash cow. Probably 19 of 20 times they're 'installed' I think they're terrible, and the project didn't change that opinion. The 20th time maybe there's some justification, but it's not size. One of my classmates liked them on the grounds that, "He'd had good experience with them." BQ: I haven't. Which one is the best?

Answer: I know what you have. Don't feel shy to say it. You have brachymetatarsia, a short 4th toe. It occurs more frequently in girls and appears in the childhood, not at birth! I was about to send an email to you but you didn't put it here...

Answer: it depends on what kind, for example, if you want a boob job it's recommended to be 21, while young children get otoplasty.

Answer: I wouldn't reveal any plastic surgery that I'd had. Who's business would it be but mine? edit--oh, okay. If I had some kind of cosmetic surgery I wouldn't tell someone I had just started dating, but I would tell a significant other like a long term boyfriend or a husband. It could even be medically important somewhere down the line. There's no need to keep secrets like that from an S.O.

Question: why should moviestars spend more money for aesthetic surgery?

Answer: their money comes a lot from there appearences and looks therefore they will do anything to look good so the can keep earning money. And as a rule the more you spend on the surgery the better it will turn out. something goes for why a lot of the females especailly models develop eating disorders. Example Janet Jackson wasnt getting any attention while she was over weight but as soon as she got back in shape and started looking good she back on the covers.(and no im not saying she had an eating disorder she does look extremely heathy)

Answer: I think that reconstructive surgery is definitely okay. As for cosmetic surgery, I think that if someone is really unsatisfied with a particular part of their body and it's affecting their self-esteem, then perhaps go for it. However, people should realise cosmetic surgery IS a serious operation and shouldn't use it to fix every part of their body that they are slightly unhappy with. Life is short. If someone chooses to live life in a way so that they feel better about themselves, I think we should respect that, as long as they don't use cosmetic surgery as a solution for everything. It's a personal decision and we should respect a person's choices in life, even if we don't agree with them.

Answer: You may just contact some of the Plastic Surgeons from the largest organization of Plastic Surgeons. I think you can fix an appointment with one of the surgeons and learn more things about the surgery.

Answer: There is no difference. Aesthetic and cosmetic are synonyms of each other. They both have to do with having a procedure done for appearance sake rather than out of medical necessity.

It is best to first do MCh in Plastic Surgery and understand and experience the basics of Plastic Surgery. Question: Does the Government Cover Orthodontic Surgery? Hello, I know in most cases people get the surgery done for aesthetic reasons which wouldn't be covered by the government. Yet, I am getting it done for medical reasons because I have a lot of trouble eating and get terrible headaches. Would this be covered by the Canadian government seeing as it is a medical problem? Thank You Ashley I went today and it turns out Medicare covers everything when you have the surgery done for medical reasons in a hospital.

Question: already have good bite but want jaw surgery for cosmetic reasons to alter profile? I have a good bite already but I do have a mid-facial protrusion and I would prefer if my maxillary profile were more retrognathic. My teeth are already meeting vertically as they should, though....so I imagine preparing my teeth for jaw surgery would be detrimental, creating chewing problems I have never had? i know jaw surgery is performed for cosmetic reasons all the time though for transgendered women but they are altering their mandibles to look less masculine. My aesthetic needs are different.

Answer: My teeth aren't vertically aligned and the idea of breaking my jaw to align then frightens me enough to leave well enough alone. Everyone has an imperfection and if youre happy with your teeth I wouldn't go messing around with your bone structure.

Question: Can cosmetic surgery really make an individual look unrecognisable? I've been thinking about this recently. Surely, despite having several facial procedures (nose jobs, chin implants and even going as far as having bone shaved off parts of the face to achieve a more 'ideal aesthetic look') someone would still look the same. Like the very essence of their physical identity - would you somehow be able to recognise them? I don't know if it's at all possible to change a face so much by having a variety of cosmetic procedures that you look unrecognisable - anyone wanna shed any light?
