Question: is it safe to get liposculpture and take anti depressed and mood stabilizer? I am taking anti depressants and a mood stabilizer and am doing liposculpture in 2 weeks. I am looking to see if anyone can tell me if there is anything i need to worry about, taking those meds and doing the procedure?

Answer: You have to tell your Dr. what Rx's you are taking. And you need to tell them now. They may want you to change something before your procedure. Also research your anti depressants and mood stabilizer yourself so you know what if any adverse effects they have. Also some meds are not good to mix with different foods. I cannot believe the Dr. has not asked you what meds your are taking if you aren't getting it done in two weeks. Good luck.

Question: How effective are the liposculpture treatments that use ultrasound to melt the fat?

Answer: that is not the answer if u work it off without anything like surgery or anything like that u r more likley not to put it back on

Question: Has anyone done this procedure (liposculpture of the pubes) and how much time did it take to recover? How was the procedure and were you happy? Is it painful?

Answer: I saw it done on that Plastic Surgery TV show once....I was quite suprised as I never thought you could do that...anyways...the girl who had it done was absolutely thrilled with the results...cant remember what her recovery was like though...I would imagine some swelling and bruising for a week or two. We all have pubic mounds but some girls have more fat there than others...this girl was an African-American girl and she would have been maybe 23yrs old. She raced out and bought bikinis etc after her procedure she was so happy.

Well, i been doing some research and it says that lipoesculpture consist of removing fat from certain areas and filling other parts of the body such as the butt with this fat. Question: I'm getting liposculpture done and i know I'm definitely going to get my full abdomen done...? the full abdomen would be my upper and lower abs but i'm not sure if i want to get my love handles,hips or waste because i'm not sure where they are at.like what is the differance between your hips and your love handles and isn't your waste your abdomen or is it different?

Answer: 'love handles' is the slang term for obliques and they are part of your 'abs' (abdomen muscles). You have the upper, lower, and sides. The sides (love handles) are above your waist/hipbone and you can definitely feel them if you poke your side while sitting down (even if you're pretty lean)

Answer: This totally depends whether your lack of waist definition is caused by extra body fat or whether it is just your natural body shape such as having a narrow pelvis and/or well developed abdominal muscles which take away from the hourglass shape. You can certainly consult with a cosmetic surgeon specialising in liposuction to see what options are available for you. Once the fat cells are removed they cannot return, however the remaining fat cells can still expand with weight gain in the future.

Answer: Im not sure about American prices, but the prices in Korea can vary. It is also dependant on the quality of the services. I wouldn't go to the cheapest place you can find, as they don't necessarily offer the best service. My friend had plastic surgery done in Apkujeong (The Plastic Surgery), they offer full liposculpture at about $12,000. From what I saw of my friends surgery, they don't go overboard, and they didn't leave any scars on her. (She only had her eyes and nose done). In saying that, this place has a good reputation, but is also known to be a lot expensive than other places. It definately pays to look around. Unfortunately I don't know anybody (or nobody has admitted to it) that has had liposculpture here, but I hope the pricing is of some help to you.

Question: if you have lipo then put on more weight, where does the fat end up? I understand that if you have liposculpture or liposuction the fat cells are permanently removed so you won't put weight on in the abdomen region again. But if you overeat/underexercise and put on weight, where would the fat that would have gone there go instead?

Answer: It starts to build up in adjacent areas to where you had the fat removed. This is why you need to make sure that after lipo, you keep at a healthy weight....or you will just end up need more lipo in other areas....it's like a vicious cycle! HTH : )
