Question: Have you had breast implants done by Dr. Becker of Bismarck, ND? How much did they cost? Did you have a positive experience?
Answer: Last summer my roommate underwent a breast implants procedure and the results look really good so far. Where I live a there are certain plastic surgeons that are better than others. I'd consult plastic surgeons in your area and see before and after pictures. http://www.plasticcosmeticsurgerycenter.com They should be able to answer your questions.
Question: Do you find this interesting? Hi i'm 14 and I'm writing a book for practice as a writer, and this is a chapter called "purpose" please tell me what you think.
Why must everything have a point, a purpose, why cant things just be. What is it that makes human alike seek it in everything. Philosopher Ernest Becker said that we want to live on in the memories of others, and we create these memories through our actions and accomplishments. So maybe we seek purpose mainly because it gives others reason to remember us. But still I find it curious everything movies, books, words, objects, they all have a point. What about purpose do we find so attractive that we must implant it in everything. We can’t find the meaning of life because we live, because the point of anything is composed of it’s relation to us, how it affects us, or how it relates to us. If something does not do either of those things we dismiss it as not having a point or believe that the point is unknown. Perhaps that’s why we cant see the meaning of life, it doesn’t affect us, it’s composed of us, the only part of life that effects us ,beyond being a part of life, is death. Or when someone leaves us to go somewhere else, or changes. It’s the end of that life as we know it, so in that it is like death. Maybe that’s why we believe in a higher power because we need to believe that someone somewhere sees our purpose. But maybe the meaning of life is death, for the end of anything is its purpose. The point of moving is to reach a new destination, the point of food is to be eaten, the point of music is to be heard. So naturally the point of living is to die. For with out death, life would have no purpose and we would, there for not enjoy it, for the beauty of every moment is that it will end. Would you like a movie that went on forever? If it had no plot?
Answer: Take some philosophy before coming up with your own ideas. No sense in reinventing the wheel.

There's only one quote in there which i sited the source of, i listed my age so people would forgive typing and grammatical errors, honestly i don't need praise form strangers on the internet. As for sounding pretentious, and unauthentic, When writing philosophy you can't include emotion and can't really put to much personality into the writing because it takes away from the concept.
Answer: It irritates me when young aspriring authors post their age. It seems like you're just looking for praise. I'm a young writer myself, used to post my age, but I realised it was pointless and quite irritating for others.
Your writing is interesting, I suppose, but it's hard to read. It's incredibly repetitive and there's no variation in sentence structure or length. Plus, I'm pretty sure it should be "What is it about purpose that we find so attractive so that we must implant it in everything?", or something to that effect.
Keep writing, though, it's good.

Question: Hip replacement recovery time for Cogenital hip dsyplasia paitent? A little history, I'm a 39 y/o Female, born with hip dysplasia. I was treated as a child with a body cast from the waist down. I led an active teenage and adult life until about 10 years ago, I gained quite a bit of weight, I weigh close to 300 lbs now, but underneath the fat, I'm pretty muscular due to lifting weights my whole life.
I went to see Dr. Scott Sporer at Rush University in Chicago because he was on Beckers list of the top 15 Hip Specialists to know in America.
My spine was twisted, my right leg needed to be lengthened and the hip had collapsed.
Dr. Sporer had alot to deal with, but he did not warn me of recovery time and the amount of pain I'd have.
I just had my surgery last week, Tuesday April 12, 2011
I just had my Right THR last tuesday and i'm still in quite a bit of pain. My Right hip area feels as if there is a new joint in there but it feels like a big ol' cow knuckle or something weird.
I have pain down the front of my thighs, mostly numbness and on the left side thigh rotates between being numb and feeling like it's on fire. This is the un-operated leg
I have not experienced the great freedrom that people on youtube post of how they're up and walking pain free in 2 days after surgery.
I rotate between crutches and a walker. It is still VERY painful to sleep at night and the pain medication has me feeling like a zombie.
my surgeon did an uncemented hip and told me that he really had to work my leg over due to the leg length difference from the dysplasia, but he did not give me any idea on how long and how intense the pain would be.
I understand each case is different and people heal at different rates, but I'm getting scared that i might not be normal here.
I see so many people walking the same day on their operated leg or running in a week, even older folks, what gives, why am I having such a hard time.
I do feel like I'm slowly getting better, very slowly, I've dealt with some excruiating pain up until this point.
Is anyone familiar with dr. Scott Sporer at Rush or the Hip Doctors at Rush University in Chicago or with the Smith and Nephew R3 hip implant?
Does the new hip feel heavy or foreign for everyone who has it put in?
am I being unreasonable with my expectations and can anyone identify with this type of recovery that I'm explaining?
Answer: Don't fall into the trap of comparing your situation with other cases. Your surgery was unique because you had a special problem. For every person who walked out of the hospital on a cane only, there are probably 20 more who needed a walker.
I've had both hips replaced in separate surgeries because of severe osteoarthritis. I needed my walking aid for a couple of months (and my surgeries were so-called "textbook" cases). I don't recall a heavy feeling but I do remember feeling like my hip was supported by a sponge for a week or so.
Personally I doubt that very many hip replacement patients are running "in a week". If they say they are, they are either lying or are acting unwisely since a hippie really shouldn't be engaging in high-impact activities (and running is one of them) if they are at all interested in keeping their hip for a long time.
Give yourself a break. It's only been a week. Be sure to treat your pain with whatever was prescribed for you. Is your recovery "normal"? Since recoveries vary with the patient, I guess you certainly are normal. It can take up to 3 months to get off a cane and the muscles can continue to regain their tone and strength for up to a year. A week is nothing. Come back in 6 months and tell us how you are doing. That will be a better test. In the meantime, do your PT religiously (I remember that I did my bed exercises 3 times a day for 3 months, continuing on my own when outpstient PT ended about week 6.
Also don't dismiss the possibility that your extra weight may slow down your recovery when compared with a patient of normal weight.
