Lipstick Bleed Lines
Deep, vertical lines that raidate around the mouth as one ages, especially in smokers
Question: Does anyone know how to stop lipstick from bleeding ? HI
I JUST LOVE WEARING RED LIPSTICK, BUT JUST LATELY I FOUND THAT IT HAS STARTED TO BLEED (MAKE LINES AROUND MY MOUTH, I HAVE TRIED PUTTING POWDER AND FOUNDATION ON FIRST, AND I ALWAYS WEAR LIP LINER . ANY OTHER IDEAS?
Answer: Not only line your lips with lip liner but fill in your lips as well to keep the lipstick on longer and from bleeding.
Question: Is there any product that helps with lines around the mouth...my lipstick bleeds?
Answer: lip liner
Question: Why is there no make-up line for the older crowd? Many women in their 60`s still like to look their best and certainly make -up helps achieve this look. Lets have some tips and cosmetic brands made for the older face. A foundation that covers brown spots and smooths out wrinkles and something to prevent lipstick from bleeding into upper lip lines. Anyone have a good website that caters to the older crowd...please respond.
Although I will be there someday, this question was suggested by my dear auntie who is still interested in her appearance
Answer: Don't know of a website right off, but Auntie should see "More" magazine for the older crowd!
It's AWSOME!
Question: Lipstick's bleeding..? Usually when I wear dark lipstick especially reds they bleed. I've tried lining, powder underneath and other things... would like to know if any other 'tricks' I may have missed which would keep my lipstick on my lips! ps: have used several different brands of lipsticks as well but open to what you think are the best and don't bleed! thanks!
Answer: i've found that putting foundation on my lips and smoothing it out to the edges around them helps keep the lipstick in place
Question: I'm paying now for smoking in my 20's....? I need to use a lip pencil because my upper lip is fukked up.Then I apply a lipstick with a lip brush. Now that I'm in my 40's, I'm getting these ugly verticle lines above and below my lips, and the lipstick bleeds. Help!!??
Answer: okay...the first thing you need to to is to go to a spa and get a chemical peel or something that will sort of help smooth out those lines. Make sure that you use a good moisturizer on your face. I too would recommend that you go to a dermatologist because they would have a good idea for your skin treatment. As for the lip color goes try this approach: Apply chap stick first and then wipe it off. Next apply a lip liner that is slightly darker than the color of lipstick that you will use. Rub your lips together to get the lip liner blended in a little. Then apply the lipstick, but don't get it to the very edge of your lips. Rub your lips together again. Hopefully your lip color will stay in place. Try to use a more matte color than a really glossy one. I wish you the best of luck :)

The LipSense® Sports Lip Balm comes in a handy .25 oz. squeeze tube.
Our commitment to you: Many lip products claim to be long lasting; however, LipSense® not only outlasts the competition, our unique product is waterproof and does not smear off, rub off, nor kiss off! Imagine, kissing your loved ones and your lip color not transferring onto them! As you swim, sweat, eat, and drink, your color is still on your lips! Feathering and bleeding into lip lines is gone forever, and the embarrassment of lipstick on your teeth is nowhere to be seen! And kiss those dry cleaning bills good-bye, because your clothes are safe with all of our advanced color product technology!
How it works: Because of the waxes and emulsifiers contained in most lip colors, they easily come off onto cups, clothes, teeth, and skin. LipSense® is a liquid color pigment that has no moisturizers or emulsifiers in it. Once three layers of the color pigment is on and dry, it is then covered separately with one of our Moisturizing Glosses, containing Shea Butter. This key ingredient allows the gloss to penetrate the color and keep the lips moist, without lifting the color. The longer you use the LipSense® products the softer, moister, and fuller your lips become!
The LipSense® Guarantee: We guarantee the claims we make about our products when they are used as a system. That is why LipSense® liquid lip color is initially sold in set form to the first-time buyer. The Basic Lip Collection contains a LipSense® liquid lip color, a Moisturizing Gloss, and an Ooops!™ Remover. It is important to remember that the long-lasting properties of LipSense® are preserved by using our Moisturizing Gloss. Our Moisturizing Gloss also helps to keep the lips moist and plump. The Ooops!™ Remover is especially designed to erase those Ooops!™ mistakes that can occur when applying the lip color. Once a set has been purchased, a customer is welcome to buy the products individually.
Answer: All that is very interesting information. Are you taking orders? How about a price list.
Question: Your opinions on this piece of writing please!? Heyyy
Erm basically I'm just looking for opinions on this small piece of writing I've done
It's taken from a diary entry of a girl, and the style I've written in is very much reflective of her character and personality- but in all honesty I'm not sure if it comes across as crappy pretentious drivel
So some opinions please? And don't be afraid to be honest!
Time is too slow for those who wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice,
But for those who love,
Time is eternity.
-Henry Van Dyke
Life is short. Life is sweet. Life is like a rollercoaster ride, so hold on tight and make the most of it whilst you still can.
I’ve read them all, time and time again, be it on the so-called “inspirational” or “motivational” t-shirts, postcards, pencils, rulers, notebooks, fridge-magnets, keyrings or cooperate desk calendars of the balding 54 year old man who sits at his desk for 8 hours a day, five days a week with the exception of the twenty-two minute lunch break he allows himself to take each day, in which he mundanely chews on a tuna sandwich, washing it down with a coffee that’s now cold, the un-dissolved granules and sugar mixed to a grainy paste at the bottom of the mug, whilst staring at the paint flaking on the wall, willing the ticking clock to go slower- anything to delay him going home to a wife whose eyes no longer meet his own, whose lips now belong on the man who works in the construction industry, who lives at Number 54 with the patio light and underfloor heating in the bathroom.
I’ve read it on the social networking site of a thirteen-year-old girl, her age recorded as sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, proclaimed as her “motto”, her “tag”, her “status”, or captioning her photos of Friday night, her friend passed out at the edge of the pavement, back-combed hair flattened and tangled with vomit, the lipstick bleed round her mouth the ultimate sign of her naivety, as the girl herself pushes her back harder against the wall, legs twisted, or rather hooked, round the boy from the year above, whose parents think he’s staying at his friends house for a night of “Match of the Day” and American comedies filled with slapstick actions and cheap laughs, with popcorn, pizza and crisps and “pop” as his mum insists on referring to it as, just like his grandma, with the worst case scenario imagined as being the two boys watching a horror film intended for 15 year olds. The mother is of course quite wrong, as we know, as we see, as tongues tangle, his hand slowly moving up her back, straps slide off shoulders and mascara starts to flake.
I’ve heard them all, over and over again, in “uplifting” tones during end of year school speeches, encouraging everyone to achieve their personal bests before it’s too late, whether that’s becoming Prime Minister or President, though I doubt that’s where many would achieve their finest moments, or perhaps a much greater victory, to be able to leave ones house without washing your hands 16 times or shutting and locking the door, before unlocking and opening, and then shutting and locking, over and over again.
I’ve heard it breathed from trembling lips of the family member speaking at the funeral, unable to finish their sentence before the tears and the shaking come, or announced in the sombre voice by the service leader towards the end, an unavoidable reminder to those of us who fail to toe the line who dare to think outside of the box, whatever cliché you like, or rather fail to even acknowledge the existence of boundaries and the essence of conformity.
Thanks for the answers so far!
Just to clarify, which sentence did you mean Answerer 1?
And to Answerer 2, thank you :) It is something I'm currently contemplating as a career, but I guess I shall see how things pan out when the GCSE results come in, and the A-Level courses begin :)
No that's fair enough Chebrew2 (hope I got that name right)
That's very much what I was asking...again I would point out this is taken from the beginning of a diary entry, and this is not at all the focus of the novel, and rather is writen as a stream of thoughts. The context it is written in , if this interests you at all, is that the voice of the piece, is slowly coming to terms with her terminal illness, which is what this will then lead into. Erm, sorry it's hard to explain at the moment...
Thanks for your opinion though
Again, thanks to Answerer 4 (whose name I've forgotten.)
Yeah, the long sentences ( well I suppose not really sentences at all) was something I wanted to try out, but seeing as there is a very mixed response, I'm definitely going to change that, as actually reading it back, having heard more opinions, I do find it somewhat tedious to read, which obviously I really don't want.
And as for the "angsty teen" stereotype, that was what I was going for in some respects- someone who thinks they have the world and society all, erm "summed up" and "sorted out" I guess, in her head, and that was something I wanted to establish, as later on, I suppose part of the character's main progression through the piece, is her realisation that actually she is, more or less completely wrong...
And, yeah it's kind of really hard to explain I guess, but again, thanks for your opinion :)
Answer: This is just stream of consciousness drivel. It has no plot, no direction and doesn't hold my interest. Sorry but you asked...
Question: I've got a question about lipstick.......? Okay, so, I've got this new obsession with bright colored lipstick. Sometimes people think it's too bright, where as I like it but I'm starting to get annoyed of what people think of me when I wear it.
So, anyways, lately, since the color is so bright, it's been bleeding into my lips and I've been putting it on over my natural lip line. Like, I'll go over my natural lips so they look bigger, but it's been bleeding into my skin. I don't know what to do about this. Now I have to keep going over my lip line or it looks like I've got issues with my lips or something.....
Here's a pic
http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/12/l_4f55319716fb47f98de4b1d1a83c4ca5.jpg
See how it's over my lip line? Is that bad? If so, how can I scrub my lips so you can't see the lipstick that bled into my lips?
Answer: First of all, take all the lipstick off.
then apply a pencil lipliner around your lips (here is where you go over the lipline). Mainly on the bow of your upper lip and the middle of your bottom. Just slightly though, otherwise it'll look fake and clown-y.
using your fingers, take your favorite color lipstick and just fill in your lips (not going over your natural lipline). Not too much, just enough to transfer the color and give you a nice coating.
okay, now blend the lipstick into the lipliner. (subtlely)
now, blot and redo the steps above once more
You'll have long lasting and bleed-free lips :]
I personally think, with your skintone, a redder lipstick with warmer undertones and gold flecks would look great on you :]

Question: trying to stay ahead of the trends? so last year there was this huge craze for abercrombie and hollister at my school (i'm in middle school)
i personally didn't like abercrombie and hollister so i got stuff from delias, urban outfitters, forever 21, etc...
soo about a month into THIS school year, everyone realized that abercrombie and hollister weren't that great and started dressing exactly like me. they bought the same exact clothing articles.
anyways i didnt want to blend in so i got some neat looking stuff from small label clothing lines because when you buy from small labels, its hard for anyone else to get ahold of.
soo.. i'm the only person in my grade that shops online (i look on ebay alot because they have some unique stuff).
so i have stuff from...
jessica louise
bleeding star
asia jam
japan la
lipstick prophets
glamour kills
unspoken clothing
anyone know of any other small label clothing lines?
(do not give me wet seal or anything i can find at a local mall!)
Answer: Gawd, you're in middle school, it doesn't matter.
I'm in highschool now and I can tell you that when you look back on it, you're going to hate how you were in middle school. High school is much more relaxed.
Question: birth control pills, period, positive pregnancy test? I have been taking microgestin for just over a month now. I have 3 children and know how not to get pregnant and followed the directions which said it takes the pills one week to become effective. I started my period while still on the hormone pills which I'm sure is normal for my first month on the pill, but than tonight I had some crazy discharge. Like purple, grey, and a champagne lipstick color, with a consistency like chicken skin or along those lines. I took an old pregnancy test I had from dollar tree and a faint line appeared , very very faint. I am still bleeding so I am thinking, maybe miscarriage although I don't know exactly when I would have gotten pregnant, praying not pregnancy and hoping it's nothing like a serious medical condition.. I have to wait till tuesday to go see a doctor, just wondering if anyone had a similar experience and what their situation was.
Answer: Be careful, a sign of an ectopic pregnancy is a light liquid-y almost champagne color peroid. I would get another pregnancy test and test tomorrow, seeing as hormone levels double daily.

Answer: If you're happy with yourself, there is no reason whatsoever to change. Seriously, don't worry about others if you're fine. If someone says it again, just retort that you're happy with yourself as you are now, and see no reason to change. I bet you'd get some faces at that :) xXxXxXxXx

Question: Can someone help me change these aspects of my body.I am close to suicide.? For all you beautiful people out there. You might think i am being over dramatic but dont think like that.If you have been as ugly as i am you would understand so i dont expect you to understand it now and if you insult me i will forgive you,no matter how much it hurts as long as you help me.If you want to know more about me.Read my previous questions.
Bottom line i am very ugly.SO what can i do to change these conditions of mine. Please help me with as much as you can!I am begging you crying,i am on my knees.
Dark knees/elbows
Hairy leg,thighs,arms,forearms,hands,stomach,lower/upper back,toes and fingers.
Unshaped bushy eyebrows
I dont have noticeable hair on it but when i checked it with a special 5 times magnifying mirror i realized that above and below my lips there is some hair and it is darker compared to my whole face, plus on my chin too.But it is like it is not there unless someone sees it with a special mirror.
Freckled nose
Very, extremely dry hair.I have no hair style that goes with my face. When i soften it it gets so thin.
I am very skinny in general.Undefined skinny arms and legs,a bit bloated stomach, intoned, unhealthy looking body and skin. I want it to be like Britney spears.
Ugly ,disgusting finger and toe nails.
Very rough and dry feet.
Extremely chapped lips.Sometimes gets so cracked that it bleeds.People recommended me Carmex.Do u think it is good or have any suggestions?
Yellow, rabbit and vampire looking shapeless teeth.
My upper lip is a bit dark as if i had put some black lipstick.I dont have a very peachy lip.
So please help me.I am sick and tired of my mom telling me to act like a women.I am 17 and a bit of a tomboy.I need this to change my life.
Answer: The thing about beauty is that it takes maintenance. Lets start with the body hair. If it makes you unhappy, Shave it. Keep in mind that shaving it will make it grow back darker and more coarse. So I'd stick to shaving your legs. Your eyebrows can be waxed or plucked, I wouldn't shave them. http://hairremoval.about.com/od/eyebrowshaping/ss/eyebrow-shaping.htm
The chin hair can be waxed or plucked or bleached, I would wax it.
Freckles are cute don't worry about them.
Mane and Tail shampoo for the hair, a volumizing conditioner ( that will help it not look so thin), and a leave in conditioner.
You need to eat well and excersise to improve your body. Even doing basic things at home like joggin and situps will help you tone.
Go get a manicure and pedicure for your nails, Then at home, keep them trimmed and clean, and if you prefer, painted.
If your feet are dry, You can get something like a pedegg to shave it off (don't rub too hard) and slather your feet with lotion before you go to bed and put socks over them. To keep them soft, wear closed toed shoes all the time, no going barefoot.
Buy some chapstick medicated and wear it constantly, also drink plenty of water
Crest whitestrip those teeth
Wear lipstick close to your skin tone, but lighter than what your lips naturally are.
When doing makeup keep it natural.
I hope this helps, But remember what I said about the maintenance. Your hair will grow back, and will need to be shaved/waxed again, your feet will dry out, etc. Beauty doesn't come easy. It's hard work and often painful.
The main thing is that you need to be confident. Learn to love yourself and your inner beauty will show. Also, I PROMISE that someday a boy will think you're beautiful and love you everything you are naturally.
Question: How do you cure dry chapped problematic lips? is there a dermatologist out here? My lip problem isnt ur typical dry one..My lips were okay b4 i started using BodyShop lipbalm or gloss...after a few weeks..my lips became so itchy..then i stopped of course..but now few months later..the problem still persists..i mean the itching comes very rarely...but b4 when it itched badly, it would leave the skin ard my lips so red..until the lip line is like jagged...Now its better but my skin still flakes..and it gets so dry till i cnnt open my mouth fully..it will become so tight..and it thinns day by day..sometimes i just wake up with it bleeding..or flakey..Ive tried vaseline..no use..now im using Banana Boat lipbalm..its been helping..but only to a certain extend..it has helped get rid of the itching..and dryness..but it will only last for not long..sometimes my lips are so red it looks like i wore lipstick the wrong way when in fact i never wore anything at all..help someone pls? Drinking water makes my lips nice and moisturized and soft..but only for mins..i want to cure my lips..
Answer: That must be absolute torture! One other thing I might suggest is that your toothpaste could be causing the irritation. I have problems with certain toothpastes, especially in the wintertime...not as severe as yours though. Sometimes allergies can come on out of nowhere, even if you've been using the same brand since you were a child. Try putting Cortisone cream on your lips and see if it helps a little. If not then see a dermatologist as soon as you can....it sounds like you've suffered long enough!
I hope you find a cure soon! :)

Answer: I've never liked carmex. Burt's Bees is really good, and lately I've been having some serious lip chappage. XD
I used to have braces, but my mom never got me a retainer so my teeth are crooked too. I floss and use Crest Pro-Health with Whitening.
Don't look to a celebrity to see how you should look, because they airbrush EVERYTHING. And it's completely unrealistic, although Britney did release an unairbrushed professional photo of herself, and you can see that she has cellulite in her thighs, but she's got really great calves. So, basically, what I'm saying I guess, is just exercise. Lift dumbells and go for runs.
For rough and dry feet, you'll need a pumice stone or something like that Ped-Egg thing (I would go with the pumice stone because they're usually cheaper.
I have freckles everywhere, and I think freckles are totally cute (even though some kid called me freckle-juice in fourth grade >_<).
If you have bushy eyebrows, take a little eyebrow brush and a pair of those tiny nose-hair scissors, and brush your eyebrows up against your forehead and very, very carefully TRIM the hairs along your natural eyebrow shape. Then pluck the STRAY hairs, do not give yourself teeny-tiny non-existant eyebrows.
For the body-hair, just shave what seems natural. However DO NOT SHAVE YOUR FACE. You'll end up with a beard, I've seen it happen.
For the hair on your head, figure out your face shape, research best haircuts with with said face shape (if you have an oval face like me, you can have about any haircut you want), and go get your hair cut. Ask your stylist what shampoo and conditioner would work best with your hair. In the meantime, whatever you could be doing to make your hair so dry (i.e. bleaching, dyeing, blow-drying, straightening, curling, perming, whatever...) stop doing it. I rarely ever blow-dry my hair anymore. But then again, it's short so I can get away with it.
And then for any dry skin I suggest something like Olay, or Nivea as a lotion and as a body wash.
Anyway, I hope this helps you out. :)
Question: I need a product to eliminate crease lines my lipstick bleeds into.Using Laurel clear liner and lip liner.? The Clear lip liner goes outside the border of the lips where the creases are, then lip liner (maybe there is a better lip liner designed not to bleed, I just use whatever I have on hand) then lipstick. This helps a little but not perfect. Has anyone treid Youthology lip liner? It's supposed to last 8 hours.
Thanks!
Answer: Here's A Tip: After You've Put All Your Makeup On, And Are Ready To Do Your Lips.
1. Make Sure You Dust Alittle Oil Absorbing Matte Powder On Lip Area And Around Your Mouth.
2. Line Your Lip With A Nude Or Matching Lip Pencil.
3. Last Apply Your Lipstick.
(Sometimes Its The Lipstick That Might Melt, Depending On The Brand You Use)
Question: What is the best lip primer? I am wondering if any ladies have found a really good lip primer? One that truly keeps lipstick from bleeding esp. into fine lines above upper lip. I had read that Mary Kay Time Wise Lip Primer worked well but then was told by an actual user that she was not pleased. I have tried using both powder and foundation along with a good lip liner prior to putting on lipstick but those things still did not keep lipstick from bleeding. Suggestions please????
