Mammoplasty
Any reconstructive or cosmetic surgical procedure that alters the size or shape of the breast
Question: Does Cigna Insurance (Louisiana or other) cover reduction mammoplasty? I am looking into having a breast reduction. I would like to know which insurance company I should sign with. I currently do not have any, and would like to choose one that doesn't have a year waiting period to have the surgery. My consultation is March 10. If anyone has any information on how to get any help on the finances in this situation, please help! It doesn't necessarily have to be insurance. Discount cards, or other things are also an open option for me.
Answer: health-quotes.talk4fun.net - here is my health insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.
Question: if someone's brest structure physically affected by an accident, can mammoplasty helps them?
Answer: of course, it does you have to show a good plastic surgeon though
Question: Reduction Mammoplasty? I'm considering getting a reduction mammoplasty. I'm looking for other women who have had it done, was it worth it? Did it turn out like you wanted? What are questions I should ask the plastic surgeon?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Hey hun, yeah they are a BIG problem, no pun intended....I just don't want to end up with saggy balloons and back pain. I'm very petite, and they are much too big for my frame. 36DD
Thanks hun I appreciate it!
Showstopper - When have you seen a pic of my breasts? My face is the only pics on here.
Moe- You being male, obviously means you have no idea what it's like to carry around an extra 10 + pounds on your chest. And secondly, it's not about the looks right now, I'm thinking about the future. Thirdly it's inconvenient, often times uncomfortable and I have to purchase very expensive bras. A DD on one woman can look very different than a DD on another. Mine look too big for my body. A lift is NOT cheaper, as I qualify for a reduction via my insurance. A lift is 100% cosmetic, a reduction is not at all.
Answer: i had a reduction. i was 32DDD/E and now I am a 32C. i love the results, you can barely see the scars. i would make the same decision again.
feel free to contact me, i'd be happy to share my experience.
Question: is there any doctor here? what is the importance of mammoplasty?
Answer: I think it can help women who have deformities, such as after mastectomy, to regain their self-esteem. Mammoplasty can also help women's self-image if they have breast augmentation, and help with comfort, posture, self-image and finding clothing in regular sizes if she has a reduction.
Question: How to know if a woment is suffering from breast cancer after mammoplasty?what are the symptoms & cure?
Answer: Breast Cancer
Treatment Overview
Breast cancer is usually treated with surgery, medications, and radiation therapy. Because of improved screening methods, diagnosis at an early stage, and improved treatment techniques, the number of deaths from breast cancer has been steadily declining over the past few years. Decisions about how to treat breast cancer are based on a combination of factors that include specific information about the cancer, your preferences, and your health.6
When making decisions about treatment for your breast cancer, you and your doctor will consider:
The size and location of your breast cancer (stage).
How aggressive the breast cancer is.
Whether your breast cancer has receptors to the hormones estrogen and progesterone, called estrogen receptor/progesterone receptor (ER/PR) status.
Whether your breast cancer cells contain human epidermal growth factor (HER-2/neu).
Whether your breast cancer has spread to the lymph nodes in your underarm area (axilla).
Symptoms
The first sign of breast cancer is often a painless lump. However, early breast cancer is often found on a mammogram before a lump can be felt.
Other symptoms of breast cancer may not appear until the cancer is more advanced. These include:
A thickening in the breast or armpit.
A change in the size or shape of the breast.
Changes in the skin of the breast, such as a dimple or skin that looks like orange peel.
A change in the nipple, such as scaling of the skin, a nipple that turns in, or discharge or bleeding.
A change in the color or feel of the skin around the nipple (areola).
About 1% of breast cancer occurs in men. Although most men diagnosed with breast cancer are older than 65, the disease can appear in younger men. For this reason, any breast lump in an adult male is considered abnormal.1, 2
Inflammatory breast cancer is a specific type of breast cancer that involves the skin of the breast. It occurs when breast cancer cells form "nests" and block the lymphatic drainage from the skin of the breast. Symptoms include redness, tenderness, and warmth. Thickening of the skin of the breast (an orange-peel appearance), rapid breast enlargement, and ridging of the skin of the breast may also be present. Some women may also develop a lump in the breast.

Question: Why is my wife so selfish? I have managed to get a loan so she can have breast implants as I want her to have bigger **** but she says she doesn't want to have mammoplasty enlargement. What can I do to persuade her, after all it's not costing her anything, women, you can't live with them, you can't live without them.

Question: what do you think about COSMETIC PLASTIC SURGERY? Approve?

Somewhat Disapprove?

rhinoplasty,mammoplasty,botox,liposuct… :)

Question: Had breast reduction 2 months ago, experiencing back and neck pain? I don't know if this is normal or not but have any of you ladies who've had mammoplasty experienced back and neck pain/soreness a few months after?
I'm 22 years old, and I went from an H or I cup to DD..everything was fine until I tried to ditch the post operative bra a week ago, and wear another bra (no wire)...
I only wore that bra for a day but that night i had a LOT of neck and back pain so I stopped wearing it...I went back to the post op bra the next day but the pain won't go away..anybody had experience with this?
Answer: i'm not exactly sure what type of pain you need. but i had pain in my breasts for at least 6 months after surgery. i had to keep the post surgical bra on pretty much 24 hours straight for the first 2 months. it was just a sports bra so it was pretty comfortable. after that, i still could only sleep on my back. it took me almost a year before i could sleep comfortably on my stomach. if i turned on my stomach in the night, i would wake up sore.
your back and neck shouldn't be hurting. could it be your posture? call you doctor...
Question: When is the end of breast development? Okay, so please don't laugh. I'm 15 right now and I wear a 30F bra right now but my bust measured to be a G a couple days ago so... *sigh* I have a really petite body. I only weigh 100 pounds at 5'0" and I've been trying to convince my doctor to allow a reduction mammoplasty, but I keep getting denied. I've read about teen breast reductions, and they are possible so I don't know why I can't but... yeah. :P Um so anyway, I was wondering when breast development stops. I first "blossomed" when I was in 4th grade and started my period in 5th grade (if that helps). Please no rude comments! Thank you!
Answer: 1st I wanted to point out that I wear around a size 34A bra, I'm 4'10 and I'm 13. I started to get boobs in 5th grade. So we are pretty different with the bra size and age, but I wanted to tell you my opinion. Your breasts actually stop growing at anywhere from 17-23. You being 5 feet and having a 30F bra sounds painful and unbearable to me. I don't think you can get a breast reduction without your parent's permission, but I believe you should be able to if it is very important to you. If you continue to get denied, then try minimizer bras. I think that you should be able to get the reduction, but it will definitely take time to recuperate.
I hope I helped you! Good luck (:

Answer: Approve. I had a breast augmentation and lip injections.
Question: Matching surgery to its surgeons: who performs transverse colectomy? If not a thoracic surgeon I have an err? It that doesn't seem right, I have an error on another one that I think is right. Please advise. Coronary artery bypass graft - cardiovascular. Open reduction fracture left ankle - orthopedic. Nephrectomy - urology. Reconstruction of sciatic nerve - neurosurgery. Bilateral reduction mammoplasty - plastic surgeon.
Answer: Thoracic surgery involves the chest, lungs and diaphragm so that does not seem right for a transverse colectomy which involves the colon. But the others all seem correct.
