Question: does anyone know any good camouflage makeup to hide scars? i have a little scar on my stomach that i hate...it is quite noticable....does anyone know any good camouflage makeup to hide it? and how much does it cost and where do you get it from?

Answer: i know you can get stuff called Dermablend online. It seems to have pretty good reviews. You just need to learn how to use it. www.dermablend.com it's kinda pricey but i really don't know of anything else. sorry. but you could probably find it off ebay or amazon or something

Answer: Dermablend is good but is VERY heavy. you can get camouflage makeup at Sephora and maybe MAC. Depending what you need to cover. Is not expensive, around $20

Question: Any good suggestions for what camouflage makeup I can use? I am looking for any kind of makeup that will help conceal some scars on my back and legs (some scars are very dark). Answer: Check out DermaBlend ~~ they sell a leg and body foundation that is probably perfect for you. If you go to their webpage there is a section that covers how to choose the Right Shade for You ~~ and Yes there are Darker Colors you can choose from. One of my Sisters has Burn scars on her arm ~~this product is long wearing & works great for her. Question: what available camouflage makeup that guys can use, particularly those that provide natural finish? I need it to cover my facial scars. Actually, I have a post-surgical scar. It is just a minor surgery. But the scar is noticeable. It's like Harry Potter's scar.

Answer: My brother uses a tinted pimple cream http://www.getprice.com.au/Clearasil-Tin… OR a great concealer is Natio liquid concealer if you just need to put it on a few smaller areas. Also glo minerals (http://www.glominerals.com/) is a really good foundation that's light and you (and others) can't even see it. It basically just evens out skin tone and helps cover blemishes. And if you're worried about what other people may think just don't tell them you're wearing it! Make sure you get the right shade though or you will be able to see it. A tinted moisturizer or sunscreen is also a good way to cover up bad skin. http://www.lookfantastic.com/face-and-bo… Remember to blend it in properly to your skin and be careful of the jaw line because that can sometimes be a dead give away to if you're wearing make up!

Question: Why don't people use camouflage makeup on their faces if it hides flaws and imperfections so well? Isn't that what foundation is for?

Answer: Because some people aren't interested in covering up their imperfections. Some people believe that the imperfections are what make us unique, and therefore beautiful for who we are. Some people have make-up allergies, or other skin conditions that make it impossible to wear make-up. I only wear foundation during the winter months, when my skin dries out and starts looking pasty from lack of sun. Honestly, I don't have time to try to make myself "perfect" according to someone else's definition...I use it when _I_ feel like I need it.

Answer: Bare minerals is excellent for your skin and gives a very natural look. QVC sells it for reasonable prices. IT is so gentle on your skin they say it is OK to sleep with it on. I use it when my skin has broken out or aggravated and it helps clear it up.

Answer: It's expensive stuff. They use it to cover up tattoos too. Foundation isn't heavy enough to cover scars or tattoos. I have tattoos that I'd like to cover because I work in a very professional environment but it's just too pricey for me and I just wear pants and shirts with sleeves all the time.

Answer: Any concealer or under eye makeup that says "moisturizing" should help, since moisture helps "plump" the skin, making it less wrinkled.

Question: How do i cover up the unpleasant smell of makeup? I use Apres camouflage makeup once in a while and it has a very unpleasant odor to it. I was wondering if there's any way i could cover up the smell. (I don't wanna switch to another brand--i like this one). Does anyone else have this problem or know a way i can fix it? I know it's not expired because I just purchased it recently. It's not like a terribly rotten smell but it smells worse than other makeup brands, like covergirl and maybelline.

Answer: maybe try using perfume! but makeup shouldnt smell though.

Question: What sort of makeup will camouflage the ugly shape of my eyes? I've always hated how ugly my eyes are and have worn *a lot* of eye makeup every day since middle school trying to hide them. I'm so ashamed of my eyes without makeup that my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years has never seen me without eye liner, and I even feel extremely uncomfortable around my dad, sister, and other family members when I don't have any makeup on. I despise the shape of my eyes so much that two months ago I got an Endoscopic Brow Lift from a plastic surgeon, and while the procedure did help some, I'm still left with this horrible, sagging shape around my upper eyelids. Answer: Not a good picture and I am not sure if you are a guy or a girl because I can not see your face. If you are a girl makeup can help if you are a guy try those gel scar bandages or mederma gel. Also that picture is huge. If you have the money a dermatologist or plastic surgeon can help as well. Update: Just to let you know the scar is not that bad at all. You probably notice it more than others. Good luck, I have some scarring under my chin from picking at my skin. I use the mederma gel and love the results. But since I am a girl I put makeup on the scars when I go out somewhere. Not everywhere only when I dress up or something. Question: permanent tattoo makeup to camouflage scars..has anyone tried this? i have a small scar right below my nose.i dont think you can remove it but i want to make it invisible with permanent makeup.how good were the results and how much did it cost ? who would you recommend? thank you

Answer: honestly i know people who have had the permanent makeup stuff tattooed and you might like it at first but as you get older your body grows and as you grow your tattoo moves. i know someone who had that lip liner tattoo and her lip liner tattoo isnt even on her lips anymore. lol. its horrible. but it looks good at first but in the end you will regret it. so i wouldnt recommend it. but good luck!

Question: can you camouflage Hyperpigmentation/ brown scars from permanent makeup? its a tattoed process where they use pigments just like tattoing but to hide scars my scars are brownish/darkish discoloration am not light skin nor am i dark i would say sandy beigh color skin tone

Answer: Cosmetic tattooing is not indicated at all for hyperpigmentation. The results will never look good. There are treatments available for this - check with a dermatologist.

Question: Makeup tips to divert attention away from pimples? Hi guys. I have two wedding events to attend tomorrow, and unfortunately have 3 monster zits(and by monster, i really do mean monster, literally half a penny size) on my face. Any tips on how to camouflage them? Ofcourse foundation/concealer is a basic item, but anything else? What if I put on dark eye makeup? or should I keep makeup light all over? Tips would be helpful. Answer: As a make-up artist i would suggest putting attention to the furthest feature away from the acne for example if the acne is on your four head play up your lips with a bold colour or if the acne is on your chin play up your eyes by high lighting the brows and your natural eye colour and if the acne is on your cheeks avoid lots of blush and for noses ice your nose (to reduce swelling) and then cover with your under eye concealer then your regular foundation and if possible keep a small mirror with you and some back up foundation for those sweaty moments To highlight your eyes use the following chart Brown/Hazel - use gold eye shadow Green - use light purple eyeshadow Blue/Grey - use a matte silver and shimmery black for the smokey eye effect Hope this helps Best of luck!

Question: What makeup is the best to cover scars? I am 26 and about 18 months ago, I had my BCG injection. It became infected and tracked down slightly. It is fine now, but I have 2 small scar areas ,that look like cigarette burns. I have tried concealer that I use for my eye bags and powder, but it is still visible. Can anyone recommend a good concealer? I have heard of prescription camouflage make-up but haven't been to the doctors yet about it yet.

Answer: You can get a camouflage type make-up at the Estee Lauder Make-up counter in a department store. It is called Maximum Cover and it works AMAZINGLY! I currently use it, and it is the best I have ever used for coverage. I will attach a link to the website so that you can check it out!

Question: What should I use to Cover/Camouflage Sun Damaged Skin on My Throat and Upper Chest? I have very damaged skin from a very bad sunburn over 20 years ago. I tried products like Coverblend and Dermablend but they make me look like a prune. I want to cover up white blothy skin with some easy to use camouglage makeup but they are all so thick and unuser friendly. It is hard to blend it into my skin on the upper chest below the throat. It there a product that either brushes, sprays on or is easy to apply cream without it being a science or taking a lot of time? Thanks for any answers!

Answer: Unfortunately, all of the good cover ups for hiding scars and tattoos are thick. You should look into laser resurfacing. It is really painless with the advancemnet of some of the new lasers. There are a few companies who have come up with a spray on foundation. I remember we carried it at the Beauty Supply in Hollywood. It was like airbrushing your face! I cant recall the name of the company though. Try a web search. I do know it came in a slim silver can.

Question: What is a good eye cream for slight undereye puffiness? My eyes are puffy in the corners, and they never completely disappear. I use an under eye gel and camouflage with makeup during the day, but it seems to be a chronic puffy eye. Is there surgery that can correct this?

Answer: wet q=tips before you get in the shower in the morning and put them in the freezer.. take your shower and before putting on makeup lightly rub them under your eyes.. helps with the puffyness. ;)
