Widows Peak

Question: Widows peak? I am a male with a very defined widows peak. I am in the military and am required to have hair within a ceratin standard. I dislike my widows peak very much and shave it daily but it is still noticable. How can I disquise it better or is there a way to permanently rid myslef of it. Growing my hair out is not an option.

Answer: I am a hairstylist and I have seen it done before where people get threading done to their hair line i.e. to remove a widows peak. Electrolisis is also another option but much more costly. I would def look into the threading. If you arn't sure what threding it, it's a form of hair removal where they use a peice of thread they wrap it around the hair and pull the hair out. Once you get the shape you can't probably just pluck it every week or so to keep the shape. Hope this helps

Answer: Well i don't know how Wandas hair is.. But yes i have a really noticeable widows peak as well. I have very short bangs and you cant even notice it anymore.

Answer: I think the only way to get rid of hair COMPLETELY is to get laser hair removal treatments, so it stops growing there. Why would you want to get rid of your widow's peak? Even if you don't like it, your scalp probably looks worse with the black dots than the peak now.

Answer: First a widow's peak with your hair a little puffed on top can be very sexy. I do not have a recommendation for a barber but have to tried a side parting? Can you do bangs? You may to use some really strong mousse. This sounds a little difficult but keep an eye out and if you see someone with a cut you like ask them-you can always use a girlfriend as an excuse if necessary. A widows peak was seen as a sign of virility.

Answer: I have a severe widows peak too and I wear bangs. I also had a spiral perm in it once with no bangs and long on my shoulders and it looked fabulous too. But if you prefer to cover it then try bangs.

Answer: Unless you are a pro and are trained to take that kind of bump, I wouldn't try it. Pro wrestlers are like professional stuntment -- they are trained and reared to get hurt without getting seriously injured. I'm guessing you are very young. One wrong move and forget about wrestling . . . and possibly walking . . . for the rest of your life. If you insist on doing this, go to a wrestling school first and work with an experienced trainer.
