Microsurgery
Surgery performed through a microscope; useful in flap surgery for visualizing nerves and blood vessels
Question: What are the consequences of smoking weed after microsurgery? I was told not to smoke for a whole month after my surgery (on my finger). I'm just wondering why? Thanks.
Answer: Smoking reduces the size of the blood vessels and when you are working on very small blood vessels if you shrink them they will not get blood. When you don't get blood to those tissues the tissues die. I imagine you wanted to keep the finger right? Lay off the smoking for a month until your finger heals...

Question: how successful is microsurgery to cure venous leak and damage to the corpora resulting in reverse ejac? if anyone knows anything else about reversing diabetic impotence short of wiring it up to the mains although I might enjoy it..particularly interested in soul's doctor's advice on homeopathic remedies and chinese remedies especially acupressure...pls rush me under plain cover asap..i understand that i have a 28 day no quibble money back guarantee
sorry for the silliness!
Answer: I would not worry about reverse ejaculation..if by that you mean ejaculating into your bladder...no big deal unless you want children. But, diabetic induced ED is a very real problem, and there is a CURE! I do NOT advise and implant ... only as a last recourse, period...these are not as satisfactory as it would sound, even the fancy pump type will render a seriously smaller penis when erect. At this time, they cannot give you the same size as you had before, for fear of the implant ripping through the head during intercourse! But, take heart...there are chemicals out there that really do the trick...so much so you will become superman IF it works.
The chemicals (a trivalent compound that must be injected directly into the penis...not as painful as it sounds) produces an erection within 20 minutes that can last as long as 4 hours or more...this is not what you are aiming for...erections that are strong, last about 1 hour is a good goal...use a diabetic syringe, and injected directly into the corpus caveranosa...this compound causes the valves to close and the penis to become downright HARD...super dick, so to speak. This compound is used by the porn stars, etc...for what ever reasons. But it is extremely effective in most men..not all, but most. See your urologist and ask for a prescription OR go to Boston Clinic..(Expensive, but worth the money if you cannot get it up). You will find it cheaper through your urologist. IF you need, I can forward the name of the compound to you via email. What you are experiencing is a real bummer, destroys much confidence, etc. WARNING! If you use this stuff, there will be an inclination to prove to the world how super you are...trust that you have not changed one iota, are chemically dependent, and keep it under wraps. Do not let this stuff "go to your head" and start prowling the streets to prove just what a fantastic lover you are...you are no more, no less that you are today, just a normally functioning version. All this assumes that you are NOT a candidate for Viagra or Cialis. Both these drugs present nasty side effects. Good luck
Question: its been three weeks since my varicocele microsurgery, but still pain? its been three weeks....my urologist said I had some local edema..but then it was fading away...my testicles hang really low now...and i still feel dull aches....is this normal after varicocele surgery getting close to three weeks?
Answer: Yes, the reason is the veins which caused the varicocele are still shrinking. I had the same thing with the testicles hanging low. Once the veins in the scrotum completely heal the testicles will sit higher and be less painful. The easiest way to fix the problem now is to wear tighty whities. They give the support by holding the testicles higher. It will cut down on the pain.
Question: what is microsurgery and is there any pics or videos on the net?
Answer: It is a method of surgery utilizing a microscope to enable doctors to operate on very small areas. Microsurgery is used to target a specific area and to protect as much of the surrounding healthy tissue as possible.
There is a video for prosthatectomy, click to watch it if you wish:

Question: Scars after microsurgery for varicocele (sub-inguinal incision) - how bad is it? Greetings, I will be having microsurgery to repair varicoceles in my left and right testicles soon due to pain in the scrotum and groin area. The approach used will be sub-inguinal (1.5 inch angled incision located about 1.5 inch over top of penis and 1 inch on either side).
I'm pretty self-conscious about my body and am wondering if anyone has had this surgery before and can tell me a bit about the kind of scar I should expect to have to deal with after it. Doc says the scar will most likely fade about a year after the surgery and will be covered by pubic hair. I absolutely hate the idea of having two (one for each testicle) scars in such an intimate area, and I suspect my girlfriend feels the same although she "doesn't mind". Can someone who's had this surgery tell me what to expect? Also, are there any cosmetic procedures I could have after the surgery to minimize the appearance of the scars?
Thanks you so much in advance.
Answer: THE SCAR WILL BE SO SMALL EVEN YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE FINDING IT I KNOW I HAVE HAD A VASECTOMY AND YOU RELAY HAVE TO LOOK HARD TO FIND IT
Question: Is microsurgery for hammer toe correction covered by health care system? I'm thinking about moving to Berlin soon, but I'm worried about my health coverage there. I have hammer toes that may need surgery in a short time, as it's a severe, semi-rigid stage and it's starting to be painful. Here in my country the only surgery covered is traditional open surgery, too risky, painful, and I wouldn't be able to work in months. I'd need to have minimal invasive procedure, but I can't afford it, I'm really broke.
I wonder if, being a resident in Germany, microsurgery for hammer toe is covered by public health care system, and then if I can request it even if being unemployed or earning a really low income?
Answer: It is a very widespread myth that the healthcare in Germany is free, it is NOT free every citizen and all residents are obliged to have an insurance.
So if you move here and become a resident you will have to have an insurance and it will depend on the insurance you chose if the microsurgery you want is included or not.I very much doubt any inurance here will be ready to pay for an illness which started before you moved here sorry to disappoint you.
Question: What is microsurgery? When was it first used?
Who developed, or invented it?

Question: What happens to an Amoeba when you remove the nucleus? One of the first experiments ever performed concerning the nucleus involved removing one from an amoeba. Scientists discovered that when the nucleus was removed by microsurgery, the amoeba died within a few days. However, when a nucleus from a different amoeba was implanted within 24 hours after removing the original one, the cell continued carrying out its normal functions and survived.
How is this possible??
Also what process would be interrupted when the nucleus is removed and what effects would this have on the cell??
Answer: The main function of the nucleus is to direct cell activities, which it does by causing the production of specific enzymes to carry out chemical reactions.
By removing the nucleus, the "blueprints" of cell function are missing.
The reason the cell did not die immediately is that there was still enough mRNA to allow production of the necessary enzymes. If a new nucleus can be reintroduced into the cell quickly enough, it can "take over" the job of instructing the cell how to make those enzymes again. If too much time goes by, the mRNA is all used up, no more enzymes are made, and the chemical reactions required for life stop.
Question: Find a Doctor in Michigan that does diep flaps? Does anyone know how to find a Doctor that does the diep flap breast reconstruction in the Michigan area. I'm not sure how to find one on the computer, they are plastic surgeons. So far I have found them in New York, New Orleans, non in Michigan. It is a special microsurgery, somewhat new.
Answer: Seems they are hard to come by in Michigan. Here is a link of some docs who do this procedure. Also, check out the other resources on this site. There may be others there who have more recent information or can put you in touch with someone. Can you go to a neighboring state? My suggestion would be to start with U of Michigan - call there and ask for referrals. GOOD LUCK!

Question: microsurgery doctors? Who are the best?
Answer: depends where you live...my suggestion is to get refferences... your doctor should provide...
Question: uses of leeches in microsurgery? uses
Answer: They have been using leeches for their medicial properties for thousands of years. When they latch onto the affected tissue they produce a situation that is much like regular venous circulation in that area. They secrete an anticoagulant that keeps the blood from clotting as well as a local vasodilator that opens up the vessels in the affected area. Most hospital pharmacies carry a bucket of leaches for use in surgery's and they are even billed to the patient through the pharmacy just like other drugs they receive.
Question: Disc Microsurgery, anyone have experience with this? Hi. I am 26 and have 2 herniated discs in my L4 and L5 region. I have aready taken a Medrol pack of steroids and have had one steroid shot, both wich eased my pain for about a week.
I am scheduled for disc microsugery on the 27th of March and am really having second thoughts. I know the success rate is 96-97% but I can not find anyone who has had this procedure.
I am in constant pain and have been for over a year now... so this is truly my last resort. Any experiences, knowledge, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
(also, my insurace does not cover chiropractor... so I can not take that route). Thanks so much.

Question: Can an ophthalmologist perform LASIK surgery if the doctor's pinky finger is inoperable? I am told that LASIK is mostly computerized and is not a manual form of microsurgery. Therefore, if a doctor has a non-functioning pinky finger, and is otherwise a great doctor, does this matter? Please only answer this question if you have facts or data from the medical community that support your reply and thank you.
Answer: If the rest of the doctors fingers work fine there should be no problem at all with him perfoming LASIK on someone. If you are that concerned about this then find someone else to do the surgery or ask people who have had surgery done by the doc.
