Mesotherapy
Injections of homeopathic medicine into the fat layer beneath the skin for cellulite reduction and weight loss
Question: Mesotherapy? Does anyone have any experience with Mesotherapy? Does it work for fat loss?
Answer: I suppose anything is possible but it sounds a bit iffy to me. However, mesotherapy is recognized in France as a part of traditional medicine.
Question: I have started Mesotherapy injection for hair is it enough or should I complete it with vitamins? I have recently started hair treatment called Mesotherapy injection , I have short dry hair take too much time to grow , I need to know if this treatment is enough or should I complete it with vitamins like biotin ..etc . please advise
Answer: Im sorry I have to laugh.. they are actually using mesotherapy for hair growth... thats funny.
Do this simple test for me. It will take just a few seconds.
Iron deficency test: Go to the mirror and pull your lower eyelid and see if the color is red or flesh color. If its flesh colored you are lacking enough iron and should take a herbal iron like Floradix. It will take a month to see a difference. Iron carrys oxygen in your blood and if you dont have it you will feel tired, cold hands and feet, headaches, RLS, dull brittle hair, brittle nails, poor sleep, pale skin (see thru), shortness of breath, fatigue, poor concentration, low mood, ringing in the ears, irregular heart beats, cracks in the corner of the mouth, dizziness, fainting, sore tongue and canker sores. Add b12 and folic acid for best results.
Also you can take a product called IODORAL which is iodine to help your thyroid. All of these things control how your hair is growing. Meso does nothing for the hair. WHy not just drink meso soup if you think meso is worth spending money on.
These people are scam artists preying on people that are losing their hair.
Question: How much does Mesotherapy cost on average? I live in south Florida, and i am thinking of getting this treatment because I lose weight fast on my bottom part of my body, but the top takes longer...so i end up with a very skinny bottom, and an ok top. I am really satistfied with my legs and butt, but my stomach and arms still dont look...sexy!
Answer: There is no conclusive research proof that these chemical compounds work to target adipose (fat cells) specifically. Cell lysis, resulting from the detergent action of deoxycholic, may account for any clinical effect.
Question: Has anyone mesotherapy or Lipo Dissolve? If so, how much did it cost and how soon did you see results? Just wondering about Lipo-dissolve. Has anyone had the injections? Roughly how much did the total procedure cost? Where did you have it done?
Answer: Don't waste your money.
As I understand it, these procedures involve injecting a solution under your skin. They break down fat cells, so waste can be flushed out of your body.
You can do that yourself at home. There's no reason to pay ridiculous prices and go through injections which can have side-effects.
There is a type of mini-wrap (no it's not water loss)
that has a gel on it. The gel is absorbed into the skin. Guess what it does? It breaks down fat cells, so waste can be flushed out of your body.
Besides being cheaper and convienient, you also know exactly what's in it. The ingredient list is available and it's all natural. The main thing you have to do is drink a lot of water to flush the watse out of your system. If you don't, it's just absorbed back into the body.
I looked up some of this stuff and have cost estimates etc.

You can get the Body Applicators at www.wraps2riches.com
Get the body Gel to use in between applications and only use one wrap at a time.
Hope this helps - and saves you a lot of money.
Oh and yes, I have used the Body Applicators and they work really well.

Question: How effective is mesotherapy? Does mesotherapy really get rid of cellulite?
Answer: Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.
The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism. The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism.
Mesotherapy does help get rid of cellulite because it removes the fat in the targeted layer of tissue. Some also believe that it can increase the elasticity of the connective tissue.
Question: What is the main ingredient that makes Mesotherapy reduce the fat?
Answer: Phosphatidylcholin. For mnore details... see below.
Mesotherapy was developed in France in 1952. It is a secret mixture of plant extracts, vitamins and medications. So the exact mixture is not known, and is very expensive. However, it has been suspected that the main ingredient is phosphatidylcholin which is not considered totally safe.
Consider the following questions... If phosphatidylcholine dissolves fatty tissue, does it also dissolve other tissue? How is delivery of the substance limited to only the target tissues? While phosphatidylcholine is a naturally occurring compound that is present in the body, what problems might be encountered by adding an uncontrolled amount of the substance?
The injection of phosphatidylcholine into subcutaneous tissues can potentially trigger the release of enzymes (lipases), which break down lipids or act as an emulsifier or detergent to dissolve cell membranes and intracellular fats. Either of these mechanisms may trigger the release of histamines, which tend to produce itching and redness; these may be short-term side effects, but are there also long-term side-effects? Given the chemical makeup of the substance, is there the possibility that side-effects could include leakage of cell membranes or even cell death?
A lot of questions that people do not yet know the answers. However, in 1995, UCLA did a study that concluded that "women who had the injections did lose weight even without diet or exercise....95% of the 1,000 patients ... treated ...have responded to the therapy, and 85% are happy with the results."
It supposedly can also be used for migraine headaches, back pain, constipation, sports-medicine injuries, arthritis.
If you get involved with this therapy please be very careful.
Question: i wanna know about mesotherapy for hair and body? if u tried mesotherapy to promot hair growth or to decrease fat in certain areas of ur body...pls tell me if it works and if it hurts and does work for a wile and then u become fat again or ur hair starts to fall again?
Answer: dear...
yes they work...
for hair: the practitioner should exclude some factors that meso can not deal with like thyroid functions..anaemia..autoimmune ...etc.
for lipolysis you should know what meso can do for you: if you you are overweight with 8 kg for eg you should do diet or exercise and meso is only to liquify the stubborn non responsive fats...on the other hand meso can not deal with folds less than 2 cm when pinched...
the result for hair(female) is long lasting but maintained with a session every 3 month es.......for fat loss....first 4 session can liquify fat as we said then 4 sessions to make these fat cell lose a major part of its ability to store fats again....

Question: i have a big upper tummy & hypertensive. Is it advisable to have mesotherapy to remove excess fat on my tummy? Is there any other option base on my condition without any operation needed.
Answer: You should get your weight into the normal range for your height. Note that intra-abdominal fat will not be affected by mesotherapy.
Question: Is mesotherapy effective to eliminate belly fat and stretch marks?
Answer: effective in eliminating "fat cells" not belly fat entirely, dont expect miracles from it. It doesnt get rid of stretch marks but you mite want to look into fraxal laser?? i know they use it for facial scars so there mite be something for the body... alternatively try natural approaches? diet exercise then as a last option look to medical solutions?
good luck

Question: Does anyone knows about Mesotherapy for hair loss in California ? There are many places Mesotherapy but not for hair loss
Answer: year ago my husband suffered very much from dandruff and hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice (you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed and Provilluss (do not use Rogaine - it will not work!)
Those are a good products that helps prevent hair loss and contains Biotin and the clinically tested ingredients approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair.! I think it is very important!
It worked and still works for him!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed and Provillus but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here
http://www.trichozed.info/ingredients.php
and here
http://www.provillus.com/?aid=221781
It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!
Also Informative video about Provillus - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ydvCHhbRkk
good luck!

Question: Mesotherapy, Side effects and overall effectiveness? I just had my first mesotherapy injectons in my abdomen last week. I swelled up about three times my normal size and my abdomen is still bruised and swollen. I would like to get this treatment on my thighs, but am afraid I will have the same results. Its been difficult for me to go to the gym because I am so swollen.
I am going on vacation in a few weeks and want to look nice. Any suggestions to help lose my excess weight or any insight as to when my swelling will subside?
Answer: This does not sound normal at all. I certainly would NOT get anymore injections. It sounds like you had an allergic reaction.
