Wart
A benign lump on the skin caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV)
Question: wart ..........? I got the freeze off and I used it 15 TIMES. I also went to the doctor and it didn't go away AT ALL. THe wart is multiplying. I now have 4 or five warts . one is big, one is medeum, and the rest are small. they are all on the ball of my foot. I have had this wart for YEARS. what do I do?
ALSO do you have to be a certain age to go to a profesional wart doctor??
Answer: You will need to go to a skin doctor, I had the same thing. There called planters warts, and they are hard to get rid of. Your doctor can do several diffrent things to get rid of them, I had acid place on it and within a month it was gone, and didn't hurt like freezing did. They can cut it out as well. Depends on the doctor.
Question: Wart.......................? How can i get rid of my wart. Its actually like three warts on my hand because it spread...ive had them frozen and i put acid cream on them...there almost gone but there goanna grow back can i take something
Answer: I've been in your situation. I had warts on my hands too. What I used was a Russian medication called "Чистотел" Cheestotel. In English it would be Calendine, which is the name of the plant. But this actually was the extract from it. You take it and put a drop on your wart, and you won't even feel much pain; moreover, it burns it to it's root and then it falls off.

Just look for Calendine wart removal and you should be good.
Question: How can you tell between a wart and a skin tag? I have a little bump on my leg, i'm guessing it's a wart. And it's not really that big, I've had it for a couple years and I just want to get rid of it. My doctor told me to see a skin doctor to get it removed but I really don't have the time to wait, or the money. Also, I'm skeptical about using over-the-counter wart removers because I don't want to damage my skin or spread more warts. What do you suppose I should do?
Answer: A skin tag usually doesn't hurt...warts can sometimes cause discomfort. Warts are usually harder than the surrounding skin and flat, whereas skin tags are soft and usually protrude from or hang off of the skin a little (like a tag). This is probably not a smart idea, but I had a skin tag on my arm when I was a lot younger...about 10 (now 20)... and I took some really sharp scissors that were cleaned with rubbing alcohol and numbed the area with ice befrore snipping it off. There was no blood or anything. If you don't have the time to go to the doctor for treatment, maybe seeing him/ her just to find out what it is would be a good idea. This sounds like a skin tag to me, though. My treatment worked...it never came back, but skin tags can grow back...warts can also take more than one treatment of acid to get rid of completely. My doctor has told me (for plantars warts) that the over the counter treatments don't work.
Question: What is the best way to remove a common wart without going to the Doctor? I am trying Doctor Scholl's Wart Remover "Band-aids" and it is making my wart turn white. I have had the wart on my finger forever! I have been to the Doctor and he has attempted to freeze the wart off numerous times. Any suggestions? It is embarassing to have such a thing on my finger.
Answer: We used Sr. Scholl's Clear Away on our daughter. The wart turned white and it took about 2 weeks to come off.
Question: How do you remove a wart by using home remodies? I do not have any money, i am looking for a way to remove my wart by home remodies. What are some things that I can try to use on removing my wart?
Answer: This is what you will need:
Apple cider vinegar
Band aids
Cotton balls or Q-tips
At night wash wherever they are at with soap and water and dry. Get the cotton and roll a small piece about the size of your wart and dip it in the apple cider vinegar and put it directly on the wart. Cover it with a band aid to hold it in place. Leave it til the morning and wash really good in the morning. Do this every night before bed until they turn black. Usually about 3 days. It does stink but it works. I promise and it takes them off. They will turn black and just fall off. It'll leave a little hole from where the wart was under the skin. Once they're healed it'll just leave a very small un noticeable scar. My daughter had a few big ones on her hands and I did this and they were gone in a week and haven't come back!! This was 3 years ago!!
Question: How do I keep from my wart coming back after getting it frozen off? I got it frozen off and I peeled of the outside dead wart thing, and I can kinda see I guess the wart seed thing so how do I keep it from growing back through the skin? I rather not cut it out cuz that would hurt a lot. Would aspirin dissolved in water work? I hear that does.
Answer: The root of the wart is sometimes deeper than a single surface treatment can reach. It might take multiple treatments.
Question: How do you know when a wart is completely killed? I have a wart on my hand and I used an over the counter treatment. How do I know if I killed it? When I kill it will the other warts dissapear also?
Answer: The inner core of the wart must be destroyed, either through the use of topical medicine, freezing, excising (cutting) or laser. If the core is not destroyed or removed completely, then the wart will grow back and the entire process must be started again. What you are probably looking at, when seeing a "smaller wart" is the core. If this area of skin has line interruption (the lines of your fingerprint do not travel across this part of the skin), then you probably have not killed or removed the wart completely. The number of treatments required to remove a wart depends on its location; the more difficult areas are the feet because the skin is thicker and tends to be rather tough. In addition, the pressure on the bottom of the feet tend to push the wart into the skin. If your wart is a standard, garden-variety style and it appears to have not gone away, then a second treatment may be in order. It is important not to self-infect yourself, i.e., keep the wart covered and do not touch other areas of your body with the affected area(s). Remember to wash your hand frequently so as to not spread warts to other areas.
Question: What wart removers are safe during your 3rd trimester of pregnancy? I have a small wart on my palm and want a safe way to remove the wart without harming my body or child
Answer: You're going to think I'm a total redneck for this suggestion, but cover it with a piece of duct tape. I'm not sure if it's something in the adhesive or what, but it kills the wart so you can just file it off. It'll take some time, but it's totally safe and painless. A piece of gauze saturated in apple cider vinegar and taped over it will do the same thing a bit faster, but it also stings much more.
Question: How long does a wart take to develop? I have one on my thumb and if it touched another part of my body how soon before another wart shows up?
Answer: It all depends on how bad the virus is in your body. It could easily take weeks or months. You may even notice that you can have a wart on a part of your body and it never spreads to other parts. The best thing that you can do is try to get rid of the one on your thumb.
When you are looking for products to use; make sure that you use one that will eliminate the HPV virus; otherwise you will find yourself staring at another wart.
Question: How do I get rid of a wart on my ankle without seeing a doctor? I had a wart for a good 4-8 months now... and I really want to get rid of it. Do home remedies work better or wart treatment products that freeze them? I'm unsure so please help. And please tell me how to apply it or where to buy it.
Answer: I would attempt the over the counter type remedies...If that doesn't work I definitely would see a doctor versus trying some weird method an interweb poster makes
Question: How to remove a wart at home? Hello,
I have a wart that I been so desperate to remove. It's not that big but it bothers me very much.
Is there any way I can remove the wart at home without having to go to the doctor? Are they any remedies and if so, how long will it take for the wart to vanish?
Answer: Freeze it. Either of these products will do. They're available in almost any American drugstore. They are both basically painless and will work in a week or less. A stubborn wart might require a second treatment after a couple of weeks, but most don't.

Question: What is a really good over the counter wart remover that actually works? Could someone be kind enough to help me with this question?
My brother in law has developed warts on his forearms and hands. He does not have health insurance so he can't go to the doctor. I reccomened that he go to a free health clinic but he said the wait was too long and he cant miss work. He doesnt have a lot of money, so something that isnt in the 100$ range that is very effective. I know there are some, because I had a wart when I was 12 that perscription meds coundlt get rid of and then someone reccomened this one brand that was over the counter and it worked! Thanks for all your answers andI am very grateful for your time.
Ohh yeah, he had them freezed off a few month ago and it didnt work!

Question: What are some techniques that I can use to cure a wart from my index finger? A lady just told me that I can get rid off my wart by rupping it with a banana peal. So I was just wondering if there was any other techniques I can use to get this wart off my index finger. I had it for about a month now. I've been using this Freeze Off product from Compound W. I'm not seeing a change on my wart.
Answer: Just use duct tape. Several years ago I had a wart on a finger, I heard this, and tried it. I wrapped a strip of duct tape, wide enough to cover the wart, around my finger, changed it every other day, picking the dead skin away, and eventually the wart. Never came back.
Question: Is it normal for blisters to form after a Duofilm wart removal application? I am using Extra Strength Duofilm Gel to remove my warts and it is causing blisters to form at/around the wart.

the famous vinegar and cotton every 12 hours for the past 3 weeks. Please, someone HELP....
Answer: the virus that causes the wart needs to be open to the air. it can be smothered with a bit of adhesive tape. it worked on my hand. not sure if you want to try it on your face though. just one thing, it has to cover the wart completely and seal around it. the idea is no air.

Question: How can i get rid of my wart naturally? i have a wart on my hand, been there for about a year. i just wanted to know if theres a natural way to remove it?

Question: How do you get rid of a wart on your knee? I have had a wart on my knee for months. I've bought products from the stores and they don't work. Are there any good home remedies?
Answer: Over-the-counter products for warts take time to work as do home remedies. If a lot of time has passed without results you might try the duct tape remedy. You need to cover the wart with a small piece of duct tape and leave it on. The trick is to leave the wart covered for a long period of time.
Warts are actually caused by a virus. Antiviral remedies work but like over-the-counter products, they take time. Try clove oil, tea tree oil, or apple cider vinegar. Apply several times a day.
What appears to be a wart is sometimes something else including cancer. I don't want to scare you, but if your wart doesn't disappear you should see your doctor to rule out other possibilities.
