Question: My vermillion border has become inflammed. Thats the part of the upper lip that meets the skin. What causes it
Answer: Cold sore or a zit would be the first choice. Without more info, I couldn't say.
Question: can any form of pimple appear on the vermillion of lip? my lips developed these tiny, white, painless, pimple- looking spots on my lip a year ago. at first i didnt notice it because they appeared normal like the inner lining of the mouth next the lips on both side of the upper lip folds. they appear clustered so you wont really notice it unless you look very closely on the mirror and spread some folds of the lip, and it isn't painful also so i dont bother checking on them. they actually appeared the same when i first see them and up until now. the didn't proliferate or grow any more. i also noticed that i developed tiny, white head like spot on my face extending through the borders of my lips. i also had a visit to my doctor and told me that nothing was wrong. still worrying about it. i cant smile or talk fce to face with someone because they might notice it. can someone tell me if this can happen thanks.
Answer: These are called ectopic oil glands. They are not pimples. Occasionally the body "misplaces" oil glands and the result is white to yellow spots on the lip. They are non functional and they have no bad health consequences.
Question: chapped lips or herpes? Ok here's my story sorry its so long but about 2 months ago feb 16 to be exact.... I madd out with 3 gurls I noe imma whore but no of them seemed to be dirty or nothing like that and none had any cold sores from wat I've seen plus 2 of them are clean I noe ..... the other one had a blood test and found out she had low white blood cells dats it well that's wat she tole me..... I tend to lick my lips a lot and they became really red and sore I continuously put chapstick and it got a little better I juss had a sunburn about 4 days ago becuz it was reli hot out...... isn't sunburn and stress a big cause of a herpes outbreak cuz its been 2 months and I haven't gotten anycoldsores juss tendernes in my lips and slight burning of my vermillion border I think for the chapped lips......is it possible I can have herpes afta 2 months of possiblely becomeing exposed to it.....I also had a blood test about 2 and a half weeks afta I kissed her and it came bak negative for STD u can catch by kissing....also everytime I eat something after my lower lip becomes reli red like the skin unda my lip becomes reli red then goes away.....cud it be herpes or chapped lips remember I haven't goten an outbreak and I stress a lot and I got a sunburn also I have there like 3 sooooo small black almost brown spots like dots reli on my top lip of the vermillion border they been there since the beginnging of januarty wat are they????
Answer: Herpes outbreaks are hard to miss. The are small, painful, fluid-filled bumps that look like tiny chicken pox or poison ivy blisters. They can tingle or ache before the blisters emerge. They will then crust over and can take as much as a week to heal, usually leaving a scar. About 90% of the population will be exposed but not everyone is symptomatic. Once you have an outbreak it usually recurs in the same location unless you transmit it to another area of broken skin and it attaches to a nerve there. It is generally localized to one small area, though.
It sounds like you have irritated lips which are being further irritated by sun, food, constant moisture/drying, etc. Try to seal the skin with an ointment right after a shower and reapply frequently to seal the moisture in. Avoid licking them and any spicy or acidic foods. Apply a lip product with sunscreen in it or shield your face with a hat. The discolored spots on your lip may be freckles, moles or sun damaged areas. I'd see a dermatologist if you're concerned to rule out melanoma or other skin problem.

Answer: Thats a tough one, but my top two would be "numb" by Linkin Park and "welcome to the black parade" by my chemical romance. A close third would be "is it any wonder" by keane. These all have amazing lyrics and are addictive to listen too, but thats just my two cents.
