Question: Frankie Boyle's joke? Just want an explanation for Frankie Boyle's offensive joke to a picture of David Beckham and his (girlfriend?). Answer: He said "Placate" which means "to pacify, appease, settle" amongst other things but as he's a thoroughly objectionable piece of work I normally try to avoid anything he is in!
