Answer: I go by a beautiful apartment complex regularly in Allen. It's on Exchange (off the 75), between 75 and Greenville. They are really pretty buildings, in a gated complex - across from a huge park,and with trees and fields on the other sides. So, it's not congested, and there aren't any other building around it. The buildings are all set at angles, with lots of green space between them. I'm sorry I don't know the cost though:) .... The name of them are The Heights

Answer: If you ask around the school, or cool informed (in the loop) teachers, they usually know. My school had to change their wifi password because so many kids got a hold of it last year- it just kept on being passed around.

Answer: Insurance companies usually do not cover anything that is for cosmetics only. Colored lenses are all different. they are not all good for everyone. You need to be fit by a doctor and they would tell you what brand is best for your specific size and shape of eye, your eye color and what is healthiest for how much you want to wear them. I would NEVER recommend buying ANY optical goods online. So, I have o recommendations. call your doctor, get an exam, and see if there is any little Rx at all so that your insurance will pay some!

Answer: If you plan to stay a very long time, you need to consider the school situation in Plano. It is highly competitive (socially and economically). Elementary school is OK, but the schools are so jam packed that they have middle school, lower high school, and then high school with juniors and seniors. A graduating class can be about 1000 kids or more. And believe me, it is the most competitive situation I have ever seen. Brilliant kids cannot get into the top state universities (10% rule) because of the sheer numbers of kids in a class. They are stepping all over one another to get to the top. I don't know where you will be working, but consider Richardson, Allen, Coppell and others. All have good school systems (even DISD, in spite of how afraid people are of it, turns out some VERY successful college students). There are areas where you can live in Dallas and attend the Richardson schools. If you owned a home in LA, you will be able to do VERY well here in Dallas where it is easy to find a VERY nice home in the $350K range. It is very hot here (and colder too) compared to LA, and your utilities will be a lot more expensive, as will your property tax which is outrageous in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. However, no income tax here. Good luck!

Answer: its perfectly legal as long as the cat lives up to the emissions standards of your state, i know in california, you need a special catalytic converter as opposed to normal ones, but when my car needed a new cat, i just bought a new OBD2 cat from a local autoparts store and had a local exhaust shop weld it in place, be cautious of high flow cats and things like that, odds are its just a test pipe and 99.9% of the time, it will fail the inspection because its not performing where it should be
