Question: Is it possible to lift a new mini cooper? the reason why is because I would like to be my little off road toy? I was just woundering if you would be able to lift a mini and make it in to a off road vehicle... and if so what else would I have to do to it to make it able to go off road? thanks

Answer: The car has to be more than just "lifted" to be a real off road vehicle. You need your car to be light (compared to the HP) and most of all it need to be a 4WD (or you will be stuck out there in the woods). You can still lift the car for looks (but keep it on road). Question: How many mini airplane jets would you need to lift a person? Assuming the person weighs 200lbs. Each mini turbine jet engine's max thrust is 52lbs @ 112,000 RPM and weighs 6lbs. I know its a crazy idea.. i am just wondeing how many you would actually need

Answer: 5 - because 200lbs divided by 46 (the number you get when you take 6 from 52) is 4 remainder something - round it up to be on the safe side and the answer is 5. Then there would be the weight of the frame /chassis etc, and the speed of acceleration /lift that you require. 5 engines would only generate a small amount of thrust by the time they have overcome the weight of the 'pilot', therefor you would probably need more - 5 would be the minimum. With reference to Saiello's comment; one of the main problems with propelled flight, especially personal flying machines, is the fuel consumption. Fuel weighs a lot, but is obviously indispensable. The rate at which the machine depletes fuel and the amount of fuel it can carry determines the amount of 'flight time' the craft would be capable of. More fuel = more flight time but also considerably more weight (which would in tern decrease efficiency, possibly meaning the craft would require extra thrust i.e. more engines).

Question: One again, just checking....Has anyone had or knows someone who had a mini laser lift by Dr.? Abergel in Santa Monica, CA. or in Santa Barbara, I think? The cost is between 10 and 15 thousand and I hate to spend the money if it is something that won't last for at least 3 years. I'm afraid of a regular invasive face life. If anyone has time....type in Dr. Abergel on google or whatever and go up top to cosmetic surgery and scroll down to mini Laser Face lift (LML) You will notice that the skin is pulled up, but none is removed. Answer: Probably yes, if you going to be able to find this kit - I don't know if anybody makes them for Mini... Cooper S is a sports car and if you want to do something with the suspension you should lower it even more.

Question: Has anyone had a thread-lift (mini facelift)? Its new and im wondering if you know anyone who has had a thread lift. Apparently an inch long cut is done in front of the ears , a barbed hook is inserted into the muscle which is hitched up and the other barb is inserted into the top part. So the effect is instant takes 20mins and back to work looking younger. So anyone had one.?

Answer: The lift from an airplane wing does not depend so much on length as it does on the overall shape of the wing. Similar length wings can be designed for many specific purposes... for speed, for heavy lifting, for soaring, etc. The Mini Cooper S has an empty weight about 2750 lbs, or just a bit lighter than a fully loaded Cessna 182. The 182's wings are 36 feet long, so it's reasonable to assume that a 36 foot long wing of the proper shape and construction could create enough lift to get a Mini Cooper off the ground. Of course, the Mini has all the aerodynamic streamlining of a brick, so you'd need quite a bit of power to push it into the air too. Remember that to make an airplane (or a car) fly you need to balance the four forces of aerodynamics... Lift, thrust, drag and weight.

Question: Has anyone in the Los Angeles area had Dr. Abergel's mini laser lift? I have a deposet down to have this done. I keep changing my mind because I'm not really sure that it will last. I'm trying to avoid a regular face lift. The way it is done is.....a cut with a laser is made "IN FRONT" of each ear. Only the skin is pulled up and held up with sutures. Also, he will inject fat into my cheek area. He will give me my jawline back by doing some mini facial liposculpture. He will also give a full medium chemical face peel and tighten with a laser. I have seen his infomercials. The women look great. If i could get 2 years out of it I would do it. Answer: you must move the light green pieces and connect them to the dark green pieces, connecting the two gold pieces on each side. its just a matter of moving them around a bit to get it. but try to think about what you're gonna move before you move it.
