Lentigines
See "age spots"
Question: How often is it to have many Lentigines, like about 29 on each arm? And I keep finding new ones!? I hardly EVER go out in the sun but I still get them just from short walks like between the car and the grocery store.
I ask this because when most people talk about these they seem to have only one or two...
That should be "How COMMON is it"...
I'm a blond and I don't have any red heads in my family tree as far as I know.
Answer: Vash, I have heard it said, that those short sun-filled trips seem to cause the most absorption of the rays from the sun. Are you a natural redhead? I ask because most natural redheads have less pigmentation, and they should wear extra sunscreen. Everyone should wear it, but lighter skinned people need it even more. Make sure you get "full spectrum" sunscreen. Did you get a sunburn lately? Anyway, it is best to see a dermatologist to make sure these freckles are harmless.
Question: Hi i am a beauty student, does anyone know the difference between chloasmata (liver spots) and lentigines?
Answer: Chloasmata:A patchy brown or dark brown skin discoloration that usually occurs on a woman's face and may result from hormonal changes, as in pregnancy
Lentigines, also known as sun spots, age spots or liver spots, are harmless, flat, brown discolorations of the skin which usually occur on the back of the hands, neck and face of people older than 40 years of age. These spots more than anything else, give away a person's age. Lentigines are caused by the skin being exposed to the sun over many years.

Question: Can you give me some opinions on these 3 groups for my myth series? Mephistophism
A dark cult that declares itself as a religion; its teachings include diabolism, blood libels and sacrifices. It consists mainly for old, middle-aged and young men; covered in wrinkles, skin tags, blemishes, patches and lentigines. They practice the arts of séances, influencing another person’s body or property, reciting magical formulas, astrology, necromancy, mathematics, host desecration and well poisoning. They worship the god Mephistoph, lord of sorcery and the black arts.
Magusism
The followers are amoral and abuse this power for selfish/malicious purposes. The drugs have made them shallow and whimsy. They have a triad of merciless gods; Matanbuchus, Mabus and Barjes. They are also covered in a few red or blue birthmarks, moles and scars. The cult’s practices consist of meditation, séances, divination, cannibalism, seeing auras, manipulating energy, use of poppets, conjuring & invoking spirits. They attend Black Masses and Dark Sabbats.
Weyardism
Another and final religion that is only for old, middle-aged and young women. The women wear dirty clothes and have short beards and moustaches, hairy legs, dirty gray hair, skinny fingers and chapped lips. They worship Antania, goddess of witchcraft and black magic, and consider themselves as agents of fate. These witch-women are dark, chaotic and conflicting.
Note; this is not about real pagans, wiccans, witches or anything of the kind. This is just stereotypes from the Dark Ages. But I will be honest, The Antania goddess is the epithet for Hecate, but I used this epithet because it means 'enemy of mankind'. There's nothing if I use variational names, is it?
Answer: I think you did great on all 3. The woman witches is really scary.
Question: Can anyone give me some opinions please? I writing a series of paranormal-fantasy that involve these 3 cults, I want to know what you think of it

These spots more than anything else, give away a person's age. Lentigines are caused by the skin being exposed to the sun over many years. If you do not believe that these brown, ugly marks on the back of your hands and face are caused by sunlight, look at the skin on your inner thigh. You will see that the skin of the inner thigh is completely devoid of age spots. Sun spots are harmless and do not need to be treated unless they are changing or getting bigger than the surrounding sun spots.
Question: What are lentigines.................?
Answer: Freckles
Question: Lentigines on the face? I think I have one on my face near my right ear.
I never noticed it before..just recently say a month ago. It's light brown. I am fair skin.
But I don't expose my skin much to the sun.
I always have my hair down and covers the sides of my face ALL of the time so how could I get it from sun exposure. Nor have I had radiation treatments.
So what should I do? See a doctor. Just watch it myself and if it changes then see a doctor?
Answer: I would go to the doctor asap...
