Answer: Doesn't sound like a big surgery, and if you're having it done under deep sedation, that means they won't put you totally out. You shouldn't remember any part of it, and you'll probably sleep through it, but you'll still be breathing on your own. They'll most likely put in some local freezing as well (like at the dentist). Answer: I have actually consulted hundreds of women that have had labiaplasty (or were thinking about it). I would say the average labiaplasty patient is in her twenties or early thirties. They have either been bothered by their labia since puberty or some women have their labia stretched during pregnancy. About half of the women do it for purely cosmetic reasons. They only want to change the appearance. However, the other half do it for functional reasons, with little concern for appearance. They have extreme chaffing, pain while exercising and it gets caught during intercourse. Hardly any of them are doing it for a man. On the contrary, they are doing it to feel better about themselves. Are there some with low self-esteem? Of course, just like there would be with any other elective cosmetic surgery.

Answer: Some of them are for functional reasons. You hear women claiming about labia getting in the way, chafing, being pinched and the like. Mine are fairly long and that sometimes happen so I can believe that happens for a woman with even bigger labia. Though sometimes I wonder if they're saying it's functional when they're not, I think it would have to be pretty unusual to be enough of a discomfort to warrant surgery. The rest of the time is for body image issues. For whatever reason she doesn't like her labia and wants them to change.

Answer: Maybe some get it done but not to the same extent. Also it would be most likely done if the woman was over 18, not as a child. In the west we think if people want to do something as adults, let them, but don't force stuff on kids.

I had that before and I know the sexual sensations are still intact after my own labiaplasty operation.I believe she is basically not someone very into sxx or her partner is not one who knows how to deal with her on bed.
