Question: Can you name good shampoos and conditioners for dry, frizzy hair? i was looking at suave humectant collection. my hair is dry and i want to get rid of it. can you list some good brands that helps the dry hair. could you list it like this : 1) 2) 3) and so on but up to 4 is good.

Answer: Garnier is always great. It fixes damages and makes ur hair smell fruity tutty! =] Suave is my number 2. The volume and the shiny silkyness is definitely a must! Pantene adds lots and lots of shineeee.

Question: What is humectant and how does it work in moisturizing your hair??

Answer: don't know really but i never thought it worked on my hair!! i have bought many different high end items with 'humectant' and don't think they are worth the money they charge. if you need a good treatment,, stick to the hot oil...its cheap and been around for years.

Question: What the hell does humectant mean? I use Suave humectant shampoo & conditioner only because it smells so good. But what is humectant?

Answer: humectants draw moisture from the air around you into your hair sort of like a magnet but they attract moisture

Answer: Tresemme has good quality hair shampoo leaves hair with alot volume the Suave Humectant is good for suoer dry hair and can be bit greasy for oily scalp.

Answer: i think both are a good shampoo but i would choose TREsemme

Question: What is Humectant: Glycerol? I have just brought a box of fitnesse cereal bars and it doesn't say if they are vegetarian or not. I have looked through the ingredients and the only thing I can see that might not be vegetarian is Humectant: Glcerol. Does Anybody know what it is and if it is suitable for vegetarians and are the fitnesse cereal bars suitable for vegetarians? thankyou xxx

Answer: Glycerine can be sourced from animal fat, or plant oils. I'm not sure if it can be produced synthetically. Check the company website, and if they do not classify it as vegan contact them via email and ask them yourself.

Answer: Yes i sell aveada products. What you need to use with the humectant is the be curly and confixer gel by aveda. With those 3 products your hair can achieve that curly look you want to achieve.

Answer: I would use Redken Heat Glide. It protects your hair if you dry it or straighten it but it also smooths the hair quite nicely.

Question: How can you tell if your hair has build-up? I read several reviews for Suave Humectant Conditioner saying that it leaves a lot of buildup in your hair. I am planning on starting to use this shampoo next week (as soon as I go to the store and get it!) How will I be able to tell if this conditioner leaves build-up in my hair?

Answer: Well, for one if you scratch your scalp and look under your nails and see the build up, that's one way. If you blow dry your hair and/or even if you just let your hair dry and it feels like there is stuff on your hair, there's most likely build up. And if you look at the blow dryer and you see the product on the comb, then definately.

Answer: Yes, I would definitely use a low index solution so as not to dehydrate the already emaciated tissue. Use of a humectant and fluid conditioner will also aide in keeping the tissue hydrated. When using feature builder, make sure you use regular, not firming. Also be sure to apply plenty of massage cream to the face to prevent any browning out. Good luck!

Answer: Water softener increases the lather of any soap as well as it's effectivness.
