Blue Peel
A chemical peel using trichloracetic acid (TCA) with a blue dye that helps the physician determine the depth of the peel

Question: Looking for a plain white wheat beer like blue moon but without the orange peel. Suggestions? I am looking for a good white wheat ale. Like how blue moon would taste if you took out the orange peel, and spice. Just a plain white wheat ale. Any suggestions?
To that first answer...It comes with orange peel spice in it.
Answer: Belgian/ Bavarian style Hefeweizens aren't flavored with orange or spices, and get their flavor from the barley, hops, and brewing process. Generally the flavors are more along the lines of banana, bread, and clove. Try Franziskaner for a true Bavarian, or Allagash White for a domestic brew in a similar style.
Question: Is it safe to have obagi blue peel 2 weeks after restylane?
Answer: they are two different product, right? you need to ask obagi that since he is the only one knows how his products affect the skin. before you start anything, you need to consult them so you can be aware of what is the outcome. my friend face is so perfect but she is unable to be in the sun. she always turn red when she apply that obagi product. i also think her facial skin is too thin due to the peel, she look young for her age. i know it cost a lot but i know it works for a lot of people.
Question: In the movie Taxi, the Red an Blue BMW , what did they use as the red paint they peel off the Blu? In the movie the women stop by a trash dumpster an peel off the red paint and reveal a blue bmw instead. What is the red paint they peel off. It doesn't look like computer generated it looks like a metalic based film of sort. What is it?
Answer: They actually used 2 separate cars because it is almost impossible to completely cover a car with vinyl so seamlessly. They then show a footage of vinyl being peeled off the car, but that's just a short footage to "fool" the viewers.
Question: I am thinking about having an Obagi Blue Peel. Please advise? I have been using the Obagi protocols and am now thinking about having the Blue Peel. Has anyone had that before and what is it like in terms of pain, appearance and value for money. Any advice would be much appreciated!!
Answer: Well a friend of mine had one, she said it was not too painful but she was literally "blue" for a few days. She didn't go out of the house because she was embarrassed. Her skin looks great but she keeps up with them (her cosmetic surgeon made recommendations to have them done once a year).
Question: Has anyone had an Obaji Blue Peel? Would you recommend? I am 34. Are there any stronger peels available? I will rpobably get Botox and Restalyne along with the peel. Please let me know how your results wre if you had one, and if it was very painful or scary looking! Thanks!
Answer: No I haven't, but I do use the Obagi products and am planning to have an Obagi peel some time soon. You wouldn't be able to have botox and restylane on the same day, I don't think. I've had laser resurfacing and that was pretty painful for a few days after, apparently the blue peel is not nearly as bad. You may be crusting and oozing for a few days and will remain pink for a while. Just make sure you use the after care products on a regular basis and always use sunscreen when going outside! HTH : )
Question: Obagi Blue Peel? I am having a blue peel done on the 18th January this year.
Quite nervous as Im worried that something may go wrong.
I have searched the web and cant find any negative comments but wondered if anyone has had one done or knows of anyone who has had it done and how their skin looked afterwards.
I have some acne scarring and i am hoping that the results will improve my skin texture.
Answer: I have some experience with the so called "green peel", a herbal peel, which is not fully as effective as the blue peel. But it made my acne scarring less visible. I'm thinking about doing the blue peel too, later on, just to really make my skin the porcelain skin I never had:-/
Question: Blue Peel questions? Has anyone ever had a blue peel? If so, how much did it cost? How uncomfortable was it? Was it worth it? Did it work? How long did it take to heal and look normal again?
Answer: Never used a blue peel. Doesn't sound fun though! I do use Noxzema every morning and night. Does that count?
Question: Press n Peel Blue, has anyone had any exp. with using a inkjet to print your pattern to be used on a pcb.? now, the way i understand this process to work, i believe this to not work but my ink jet prints so much more pretty than my laser, lol. also, i would love to hear any learned hints and tricks to the whole process. please don't write me the directions from the website, I got it. Just the tricks and hints that you've learned. Thank you!
Answer: Must be used with a laser printer. You can use your inket to make the artwork which you then photo copy for toner transfer.
The toner in photo copiers and laser printers is a finely ground plastic. The powdered toner is melted onto the paper by a fuser (heater)
The Toner transfer method relys upon the remelting of the toner to transfer the image onto the copper board.
To aid in the process set your printer settings to make the darkest high contrast print you can. This will place the maximum amount of toner onto the paper and make it easier to transfer the image.
Tips.
1.) Use a dowel or rolling pin under the PCB while ironing. This will provide a point contact against which the iron will press the PCB against. THis will effectively increase the pressure you can apply to the transfer.
2.) The PCB must be really really clean, Lightly scour mine with a scotch bright pad and some cleanser. Don't press hard as you don't want to score or gouge the surface. Use light circular strokes and rinse well and let dry. Handle only by the edges use gloves if necessary to avoid getting skin oil on the cleaned board. Skin oil will act as a resist and cause uneven etching or worse a finger print left in copper.
3.) I gently warm the etchant in a water bath to speed the etching. Rock the tray slowly to keep a gentle wash of etchant over the surface.
4.) Use toner transfer foils to build up the resist on the toner transfer image.
5.)Brake cleaner is an awsome cleaner for the removal of the toner resist after the board is etched or if you make a mistake in transfer.
6.) Get some fine tip Sharpie permanent markers. These can be used to touch up the resist (transfer) . You can use thicker tip pens to shade over a toner area that has pin holes. Use the thinner one to drw sections of a missig trace.
7.) use a different color sharpi like red to hight light where your touchups are.
8.) Use a sharpie as a last step only after a toner foil has been applied. (Toner foil only sticks to toner)
9.) Detune your PCB software, increase the distance between traces , widen the min trace width and use larger pads. Don't try to fit traces between IC pads, yes you can lay it out that way but consider that your homebrew PCB will have lots of undercutting. Keep your routing simple.
10.) Stick to single side boards and resolve yourself that you will need to use jumpers instead. Registration issues between two sides are just not worth the effort with Toner transfer. Rerout and move components to minimize the number of jumpers.
11.) Avoid using surface mount passives, use through hole caps and resistors instead. Traces can be easily routed between through hole components easily with room to spare. This will provide alternate pathways for routing which will minimize the necessity for jumpers.
12.) Do use surface mount IC's SOIC package is easy to solder to PCB. Remember that DIP IC's will require drilling lots of holes evenly spaced and inline.
13.) its easy to drill two holes to mount a resistor or cap. If the pad is large enough then hole need not be drilled as the leads can be cut and soldered to the pad as an optional means of attachment. (another reason to increase pad size)
14.) Toner Transfer is a prototype system for makig a small number of PCB's or a one of project. Consider PCB express if your need multiple boards.
15.) Keep your board size small 4x6 at most.
16.) If you have a small PCB design say 2x3 consider copying the artwok/ design to make one large piece of artwork that contains copies of the smaller design.
So transfer and etch 4 2x3 boards on a single 4 x6 PCB.
17.) Keeping designs small and etching multple copies on a single PCB and artwork improves your odds that you'll get atleast one usable board from the run.
18.Use ONLY PLASTC trays to etch in.
DO NOT USE Alumininum trays !!!
19 Check out DipTrace which is an easy to learn and use schematic capture and PCB router. THere is a FREE version which has a 250 point limit for hobby & student use.
20.) Check out McMaster carr for PCB drills (wire size)
I use P/N
2841A43
Carbide Small Dia 1/8" Shank Twist Drill Bit Wire Gauge #42, 1-1/2" L Overall, 13/32" Flute Length $5.34 Each
EDIT:
21) Add Copper Pours to your PCB design. Pours are larger areas of copper that will not be etched away. This will save your etchant and speed your PCB etching as you won't have to disolve excess copper. Plus large copper pours can be used for ground planes and heat sinks
Question: Anyone ever used Obaji products or had the Obaji blue peel?? Were there great results??

Question: has anyone had a blue peel done my face is still pink. that was a month and a half ago.? when will get better
Answer: no clue
Question: has anyone had an Obagi blue peel , and where can i get it in toronto.? how does it work
Answer: Ha ha!! I work with Obagi here in Long Beach, its an awesome peel that actually peels away the first few layers of the skin to reveal the healthy new skin, it reduces fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, and also acne. it has been called a miracle around the office. but I have NO clue where to get one in toronto, the closest physician that offers it is in ontario.... but definetly visit the website : www.obagi.com to check out whats closer to you. ALSO: THE BLUE PEEL MUST BE PERFORMED BY A PHYSICIAN!!
Question: Painter's Blue Masking Tape. Peel it off before paint dries or not.? I want to paint stripes below the chair rail in the kid's room. I have BLUE Painter's masking tape. Do I peel the tape off while the paint is wet, semi-dry or dry?
The Blue tape is great around windows and edges, but for flat graphic design like stripes (where there are no corners, Windows or edges), it seems a bit risky in peeling some paint off too.
Answer: I WAIT TILL PAINT DRIES..
TOUCH UP SPOTS......
Question: Has anyone ever done Obagi Blue Peel. Please share your experience with me.? I am looking to trying this on my face and chest and would like some opinion on this matter. Tx.
Answer: It made my face bleed, need I say more?!!
Question: Are obagi blue peel safe? Are chemical peels safe in general?
Answer: Yes and no, in general yes they are safe when used properly. However, some medications can have an effect on your skin that would make it very unwise to get a chemical peel or other cosmetic procedures. Some skin tones should use them with a little extra caution (but I can't remember if it's light or dark). You're best bet if you have concerns is to speak with a dermatologist or a GOOD esthsthian (yeah my spelling sucks and spell check is no help).
Question: Has anyone ever done Obagi blue peel??
Answer: Yes.Depending on the strength and depth following the procedure, you will experience light swelling. Within two to three days, your skin will begin to peel. This peeling continues over the next several days. By the seventh to tenth day, your skin should be healed.
Once your skin has completely recovered and is finished peeling, you will notice a visible improvement in your complexion. Your skin's appearance should continue to improve for the next four to six weeks, becoming firmer, clearer, smoother, healthier and more youthful looking
Question: who has tried obagi blue peel? is it worth it?
Answer: totally worth it !!
Question: Does anyone know where i can find the AJF 5 Fusion LS - White/Orange Peel/Blue Chill ?
Answer: I Seen The Orange And White Ones At Finishline.
Question: Has anyone ever gotten a tca (medium) skin peel by a doctor? I was wondering what kind of results you'd gotten, and if you got the blue peel which mixes the tca with it for a more controlled peel or if you asked the dr to use tca alone. I was hoping to invigorate my skin as the elasticity and pigmentation is not like it used to be, and I'm almost 35. Thanks!
I have yet to go to a dermatologist but was just wondering if anyone has gotten one and their results. Thank you for the suggestion of microdermabrasion though I've read that it can be harsh as well, and I have really sensitive skin. You're right, and I am going to go to a couple different drs to get opinions instead of just one. Thanks :)
Answer: Your dermatologist should assess your skin type and you shouldn't be left with questions, especially for internet people. Shop around for a good dermatologist. Your face is your fortune, as the old adage goes. Skin peels are quite harsh (even medium ones). I'd look for something less harsh... microdermabrasion might be a milder option. Sometimes peels leave skin rubbery-looking. 35 isn't too old, peels are used mostly for bad acne or for really old skin.
