Question: What is the visual acuity of a person having -6 number ? For an entry exam required visual acuity is 6/9 .If a person has -6 number , does it correspond to it or in other way it is better or worse than -6 vision?

Answer: This is the minimum visual acuity a individual must have in order to fly. 7, 8, 9/9 would be better. its like 20/40 20/20 20/15 20/10 But this also take into account for color, depth perception and degrees of side vision. I hope this helps.

Answer: Spatial acuity is your ability to tell how much space is felt between two points of pressure on your skin (for example). If you have good spatial acuity, then when someone pokes your arm with a pin and simultaneously pokes your arm with a second pin two centimeters away from the first point, you will know that distance is two centimeters, rather than one or three or more. Two-point threshold can refer to any of the senses theoretically, so it relates to spatial acuity in primarily a tactile sense. The two-point threshold when refering to spatial acuity would be the smallest distance between the two pin pokes that the average person can still distiguish between those two pin pokes. Any smaller distance would only feel like one pin. I should also add that the stimulus would not necessarily have to be a pin poke, but could merely be pressure or even a quick brush of something against the skin. Hope that helps some. Answer: Okay, let's see...milieu therapy as I see it is when you combine a group of people with similar issues and needs and attempt to address those specific issues and needs in a group setting. For example you wouldn't want to have kids suffering from depression or PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) along with ADHD (attention deficit, hyper-active disorder) or ODD (oppositional defiant disorder) kids. If you did, that would in-turn establish the 'acuity' of the group. The acuity being the present time mood or interaction of the group as a whole. The ADHD/ODD kids would be bouncing around getting into mischief requiring more attention while the depressed kids would be sulking around feeling less worthy of attention and hence their issues would become compounded. With the former you would want to focus on team building and recreation while with the latter occupational therapy and individual counseling. In behavior modification it is important that appropriate conduct is praised and that positive incentives for such behaviors are provided. Kids, especially the younger ones will do better in groups as they attempt to assert themselves and gain a sense of belonging. It is only common sense that you would want similar thinking kids in these groups. Older kids should be past that stage and focused primarily on their own individual attributes and being considered desirable to the opposite sex. Your profile says that you are a nurse (as if I didn't know) so you must understand the developmental milestones involved. Let me warn you however, that a career in psych for a nurse is limited to the needs of the community. ER and trauma nurses are much more sought after.

Answer: I'd suggest just getting a new golf bag. You can find brand-name golf bags for under $100 plus a warranty so you don't have to deal with tracking down a nonexistent company website. I'd suggest checking out Rock bottom's selection first [http://search.rockbottomgolf.com/search.… ] since they usually have the best prices, but there are literrally hundreds of websites (TGW, Golfsmith, eBay, etc) where you can buy a replacement.

What causes such a contrast between eyes?" whew that is quite a bit of difference. as for what "caused" it... either 1 of your eyes is a little larger than the other (front-to-back...axial length) or one of your corneas is "steeper" than the other. have you ever had glasses before? b/c if this is your 1st time in -5.00 in one eye & -0.25 in the other, that may cause some visual disturbance. anybody with a difference of more than about 2.5 diopters between the 2 eyes is probably better off in contacts IMO

Answer: The only way is with an eye chart. That is what an eye chart is for, and what it measures.

Answer: it all depends. there really is no "bad" score on the visual acuity. It all depends on the persons opinion. i work for an eye doctor and i know personally that my acuity without correction is: 20/800 i am pretty severly nearsighted in both eyes. but i dont worry about it. i wear glasses and contacts too to correct me to 20/20. i have seen patients with acuities of 20/30 (w/o correction) and they think it's just terribly. when honestly, it's not that bad.

Answer: okay do you mean team galactic commander or elite four dude.... i don't think your suppose see the elite four in the lake maybe you saw the commander named mars and after that your suppose to go to Veilstone city in the team galactic Base and fight all the grunts i there .

Question: how do I find out my visual acuity based on my eyeglass prescription? I just recently got new glasses and have a copy of my prescription. It gives me numbers for both my left and right eye and was wondering how I figure out me visual acuity (20/20, 20/50, etc.) from this prescription. It says SPH -4.00 and -4.50, CYL -2.00 and -1.25, and Axis 007 and 170 for my right and left eyes, respectively. Can anyone help me figure this out? Or at least give me a link to a website that can calculate it. Thanks!

Answer: You can't calculate your VA from your prescription, as it does not depend upon it. Corrected VA depends upon the health of your eyes. You could be legally blind and not need glasses at all or have perfectly normal vision with a prescription of -15.00, Call your doctor and ask. He/she would have recorded your visual acuity with the new prescription. Don't be surprised if your visual acutiy without glasses (I suspect this is the number you want) was not measured; it is not a standard thing to measure.

Answer: go to route 211 from celestic town and enter mt. coronet there. you will need to use strength to move over a boulder. there are 2 items that you can get on this half of the cave. then head to the back of the cave where you go down the stairs to a foggy area. use defog to clear the fog.explore around the cavern. there should be 6 items in total in this level. then go up a flight of stair north of the cave. you will go thru a short tunnel to reach the snowy route 216. There will be plenty of trainers to battle here. and items hidden in the snow too, so make sure to keep an eye out for them, plus use the dowsing machine app. on your poketch. Your pokemon would be plenty tired by now, so rest in a lodge at the end of route 216. just stand next to the bed and press A. go up on route 217. there are plenty of items and trainers too, including the HM rock climb near a lodge in the west. At the end of route217, is Acuity lakefront, but there would be a couple of galactic goons blocking your way to the lake, so go right to Snowpoint city first and beat Candace, the gym leader there. After that, came back to acuity lakefront, and the galactic goon would let you pass. once you're at Lake Acuity, you will meet your rival. --------------------------------------… And there you have it! The HMs you need are: strength, rock smash, surf, and defog. be prepared. Always keep your dowsing machine app ready cuz there are lots of hidden items along the way. Good Luck!

Answer: In the term "20/20 vision" the numerator refers to the distance in feet from which a person can reliably distinguish a pair of objects. The denominator is the distance from which an 'average' person would be able to distinguish.

Answer: Fly to Celestic town and make sure u have lots of max repels. It's easy to get throug it... First, just go into the mt. coronet entrance near celestic town. Then make sure you have rock smash and strength. Go up and use strength and turn left until u get to another opening to a room. That room should be a very FOGGY room (it's also the room u can catch a feebass in. then keep going up until you hit the wall and turn right to another opening to a room. Fing the exit and u should be at a very SNOWY place. Then just go left until u hit some trees (u should see a rest house on the way there). Then keep going up into the deep snow, where a blizzard is taking place. USE YOUTUBE TO HELP YOU ON THE WAY CUZ I REALLY CAN'T EXPLAIN THIS PART. after that u should end up into lake acuity lakefront. There sould be 2 galactic ppl blocking the entrance to the lake. Question: When is the best time to exercise for mental acuity? I used to ride bike to school, but for some reason as soon as I arrive to school it was always hard for me to concentrate. So I decided to exercise in the afternoon around 5 p.m. I found that it was easier to exercise in the afternoon. How long does mental acuity last after exercise? and does it help you focus at school? And do you get more mental benefits from exercise in the morning?

Answer: For many people exercise in the morning is most helpful.........but it can bedifferent with each person, depending on hormone make up and all that.........your energy maybe just at the right levels in the morning where you dont need extra, and if you get extra help, it makes you less able to concentrate.... so , exercise in the afternoon, which is better for you. Mental acuity lasts a long time the healthier a person is, practically allday......... Answer: You need to go to lake valor, east of pastoria city first, then lake verity which is northwest of twinleaf town. After that, you can fight the galactics at lake acuity.

Answer: The mirrror does absorb some of the light reducing the contrast and may introduce unclearness. One of the reasons for using a mirror is to lengthen the distance used to measure the VA. The longer distance is closer to infinity.

Answer: You need to beat the 7th gym in Snowpoint City.

Answer: You're not supposed to go there yet. Head over to Snowpoint City and beat Candice (The seventh Gym Leader). Once you do, and provided you done all Galactic events up till now, you can enter and you'll see Rival getting beaten by Saturn.

Question: How do you convert eyeglass prescriptions to visual acuity? Is there a way to convert -3.75, -3.50, -1.50, and -2.00 into the 20/x format?

Answer: No. They are two different things and need to be measured separately. Call your eye doctor who would have measured your acuity.
